Die reuk van varsgebroude koffie vul die lug in die knus koffiewinkel net om die hoek van Longstraat in Kaapstad.
The smell of freshly brewed coffee fills the air in the cozy coffee shop just around the corner from Longstraat in Kaapstad.

It is a busy spring afternoon, and inside the shop, people sit together preparing for exams or taking a break from the city's hectic life.

Sy draai haar oë terug na die boeke, maar Johan laat dit nie daar nie.
She turns her eyes back to the books, but Johan does not leave it at that.
“Dink net, ons kan die erfenis ons klas maak,” sê Johan en leun vooroor.
“Just think, we can make the heritage our classroom,” says Johan leaning forward.
"Ons kan na die museum gaan en ons werk reg in aksie sien!"
"We can go to the museum and see our work in action!"
Vir 'n oomblik huiwer Anika.
For a moment, Anika hesitates.
Dit sou wonderlik wees om die dag buite te geniet, die warm lente-son op hul gesigte te voel en Kaapstad se diverse kultuur te ervaar.

So het Anika geleer om balans te vind tussen verantwoordelikheid en plesier, en om die geskiedenis nie net te bestudeer nie, maar ook te beleef.
Thus Anika learned to find balance between responsibility and pleasure, and not only to study history but also to experience it.
