في يوم صيفي مشمس على كورنيش بيروت، كانت أمينة تتمشى بهدوء بجانب البحر.

On a sunny summer day on the Corniche of Beirut, Amina was walking calmly by the seaside.

كان الهواء منعشًا، ورائحة الملح تعبق في الجوّ.

The air was refreshing, and the smell of salt filled the atmosphere.

أشجار النخيل كانت تصطف على طول الممشى، والناس من حولها يعيشون أجواء الصّيف الجميلة.

Palm trees lined the promenade, and people around her were enjoying the beautiful summer atmosphere.

أرادت أمينة، الطالبة الجامعية الطموحة، أن تهرب قليلًا من ضغوط الدراسة والقلق من مرضها الربوي.

Amina, the ambitious university student, wanted to escape a little from the pressures of studying and the anxiety caused by her asthma.

جلست أمينة على أحد المقاعد الخشبية، تنظر إلى الأمواج تلاعب الحجارة على الشاطئ.

Amina sat on one of the wooden benches, watching the waves play with the pebbles on the shore.

شعرت بالسعادة عندما لاحقت أنفاسها، لكنها فجأة بدأت تشعر بضيق في صدرها.

She felt happy as she caught her breath, but suddenly started to feel tightness in her chest.

"يا إلهي، ليس الآن"، فكرت بينما تحاول أن تتنفس بعمق.

"Oh God, not now," she thought, trying to breathe deeply.

لم تكن أمينة تريد أن تكون ضعيفة أو تحتاج إلى مساعدة.

Amina didn't want to appear weak or in need of help.

لكنها أدركت أن وضعها يزداد سوءًا.

But she realized her situation was getting worse.

اختنق أنفاسها وتصاعدت الدموع في عينيها.

Her breath was cut off and tears welled up in her eyes.

حينها، مر شابٌ بجانبها، واسمه جمال.

At that moment, a young man named Jamal passed by her.

نظر جمال إلى أمينة ولاحظ قلقها.

Jamal looked at Amina and noticed her distress.

"هل أنتِ بخير؟" سأل بلطف.

"Are you okay?" he asked gently.

ترددت أمينة قليلًا، لكن كان من الواضح أنها بحاجة للمساعدة.

Amina hesitated for a moment, but it was clear she needed help.

"لا، لست بخير"، أجابت بصوت متقطع.

"No, I'm not okay," she replied in a broken voice.

أدرك جمال ضرورة التصرف سريعًا، ونادى على امرأة قريبة تُدعى ليلى كانت تعرف الطريق إلى العيادة القريبة.

Jamal realized the urgency of the situation and called over a nearby woman named Layla who knew the way to the nearest clinic.

معًا، ساعد جمال وليلى أمينة للوصول إلى العيادة.

Together, Jamal and Layla helped Amina reach the clinic.

هناك، تلقت أمينة العلاج اللازم واستعادت تنفسها براحة.

There, Amina received the necessary treatment and regained her breath comfortably.

"Thank you, I wouldn't have made it without your help," she said to Jamal and Layla with a grateful smile.

دركت أمينة بعد هذا الموقف أن قبول المساعدة ليس ضعفًا، بل يمكن أن يكون قوة.

Amina realized after this incident that accepting help is not a weakness, but rather can be a strength.
