The Eid was near, and the family gathered to celebrate.

رافقتها والدتها ليلى وأخوها الصغير أمير، وكانا يتحدثان بحماس عن خططهم لأيام العيد.

Accompanying her was her mother, Layla, and her younger brother, Amir, and they were talking excitedly about their plans for the Eid days.

شعرت ياسمين ببعض الارتياح، لكنها كانت تعلم أن الأمر لن يكون سهلاً بالنسبة لوالدتها.

Yasmin felt some relief, but she knew it wouldn't be easy for her mother.

في الوقت الذي كانت ليلى لا تزال تفكر في ما قالته ابنتها، تجمعت الأسرة بجانب البحيرة الكبيرة في الحديقة.
