كان اليوم جميلاً في غابة الأرز في لبنان.

It was a beautiful day in the Cedar Forest in Lebanon.

الهواء كان منعشًا، وأوراق الأشجار تتغير ألوانها بألوان الخريف الدافئة.

The air was refreshing, and the leaves of the trees were changing into warm autumn colors.

اجتمع زين، وليلى، وسمير في وسط الغابة لقضاء يوم ممتع.

Zain, Leila, and Samir gathered in the middle of the forest to spend an enjoyable day.

زين كان متحمسًا للغاية.

Zain was extremely excited.

أراد أن يثبت لليلى كيف يمكنه تنظيم نزهة مثالية.

He wanted to prove to Leila how he could organize a perfect picnic.

ليلى أظهرت ابتسامة، لكنها كانت قلقة.

Leila showed a smile, but she was anxious.

أما سمير، فكان يضحك ويطلق النكات كعادته.

As for Samir, he was laughing and making jokes as usual.

أعدّ زين سلة مليئة بالطعام الشهي وغطاء نزهة جميل.

Zain prepared a basket full of delicious food and a beautiful picnic blanket.

وضعوا السلة على الأرض وبدأوا في ترتيب المكان.

They placed the basket on the ground and began to set up the area.

فجأة، ظهرت سنجاب صغيرة بجوار السلة.

Suddenly, a small squirrel appeared next to the basket.

نظرت سريعا ثم أمسكت السلة بأسنانها وركضت!

It quickly glanced around, then grabbed the basket with its teeth and ran away!

تفاجأ الجميع وقال زين: "يا إلهي! السنجاب أخذ سلتنا!"

Everyone was surprised, and Zain said, "Oh my God! The squirrel took our basket!"

وقف سمير يضحك: "لنرى إلى أين ستهرب هذه الصغيرة!"

Samir stood laughing, "Let's see where this little one will run off to!"

ركض الثلاثة خلف السنجاب.

The three of them ran after the squirrel.

توقفت السنجاب عند شجرة عالية، وصعدت إلى أعلى الغصن.

The squirrel stopped at a tall tree and climbed up to a high branch.

من أعلى الشجرة، كانت السنجاب تنظر إليهم مبتسمة، محاطة بالطعام.

From the top of the tree, the squirrel looked down at them smiling, surrounded by food.

فكر زين بسرعة.

Zain thought quickly.

هل يركض خلف السنجاب أم يترك الأمور تسير بطريقة مختلفة؟

Should he chase after the squirrel or let things go differently?

في هذه اللحظة، أشار سمير إلى تفاحة كانت قريبة من الأرض.

At that moment, Samir pointed to an apple close to the ground.

قفز، وأمسك جريدة مشتعلة قريبًا وأصاب السنجاب برذاذها من أسفل.

He jumped, grabbed a nearby lit newspaper, and sprinkled the squirrel from below.

قفزت السنجاب، وتركَت السلة لتسقط من الشجرة.

The squirrel jumped, dropping the basket to fall from the tree.

ضحك الجميع بعد الحادثة.

Everyone laughed after the incident.

أعادوا ترتيب السلة مرة أخرى.

They rearranged the basket again.

بفضل سمير، استعاد بعض الطعام.

Thanks to Samir, they recovered some of the food.

جلس الثلاثة تحت الشجرة، يضحكون ويتحادثون.

The three sat under the tree, laughing and chatting.

تعلم زين شيئًا مهمًا ذلك اليوم؛ أن السعادة تأتي من اللحظات الجميلة المشترك، وليس من التدبير الدقيق فقط.
