Jakub a Lenka vstoupili do Technického muzea v Praze.

Jakub and Lenka entered the Technical Museum in Prague.

Byla zima.

It was winter.

Venku padal sníh a vítr foukal pod kabáty.

Outside, it was snowing and the wind blew under their coats.

Uvnitř muzea bylo teplo a všude svítila barevná světla.

Inside the museum, it was warm and colorful lights were shining everywhere.

Jakub byl nadšený.

Jakub was excited.

„Podívej, Lenko!

"Look, Lenka!

Tolik úžasných věcí k prozkoumání!

So many amazing things to explore!"

“ řekl s třpytem v očích.

he said with a sparkle in his eyes.

Lenka, jeho dobrá kamarádka, šla s ním, ale byla trochu skeptická.

Lenka, his good friend, went with him, but she was a bit skeptical.

„Musíme si pohlídat čas,“ řekla opatrně.

"We need to keep track of the time," she said cautiously.

Procházeli kolem expozic o vesmíru, energii a robotice.

They walked past exhibits on space, energy, and robotics.

Jakub se zastavil u každého interaktivního exponátu, zatímco Lenka sledovala hodiny.

Jakub stopped at each interactive exhibit, while Lenka kept an eye on the clock.

Ubíhaly rychleji, než čekala.

Time was passing faster than she expected.

Najednou začalo muzeum zhasínat světla a ozval se hlas: „Muzeum se zavírá.

Suddenly, the museum began turning off the lights, and a voice announced: "The museum is closing.

Prosíme, opusťte budovu.

Please exit the building."

“ Jakub a Lenka se rozhlédli.

Jakub and Lenka looked around.

„Musíme jít,“ naléhala Lenka.

"We have to go," Lenka urged.

Ale když se dostali k hlavnímu vchodu, dveře už byly zavřené.

But when they reached the main entrance, the doors were already closed.

Žádný hlídač nebyl v dohledu.

No guard was in sight.

„Jsme sami,“ zašeptal Jakub nadšeně, ale Lenka ho napomenula: „To není vtipné, Jakube!

"We're alone," Jakub whispered excitedly, but Lenka scolded him: "This isn't funny, Jakub!"

“Rozhodli se najít jiný východ.

They decided to find another exit.

Prošli kolem expozice o dřevěné kostře mostu a Jakub stiskl tlačítko.

They passed by an exhibit on the wooden skeleton of a bridge, and Jakub pressed a button.

Kostra mostu se rozsvítila a začala mluvit o svém mechanismu.

The bridge skeleton lit up and began talking about its mechanism.

Ustrašená Lenka rychle tlačítko vypnula.

A frightened Lenka quickly turned off the button.

„Opatrně!

"Be careful!

Můžeme spustit alarm!

We might trigger an alarm!"

“ upozornila.

she warned.

„Ale je to jedinečná příležitost,“ zasmál se Jakub a pokračoval v cestě dál.

"But it's a unique opportunity," Jakub laughed and continued on his way.

Najednou Jakub zahlédl tlačítko s nápisem „Nouzový pokus“.

Suddenly, Jakub spotted a button labeled "Emergency Attempt."

Bez váhání ho zmáčkl.

Without hesitation, he pressed it.

Celé muzeum se rozzářilo pestrými světly a ozvala se hlasitá hudba.

The entire museum lit up with colorful lights, and loud music played.

„To je problém!

"This is a problem!"

“ Lenka div nevylezla z kůže.

Lenka nearly jumped out of her skin.

Rychle vyrazili dál a snažili se co nejrychleji utéct.

They quickly rushed on, trying to escape as fast as they could.

Nakonec Lenka našla malou nenápadnou chodbu, která vedla ke služebnímu vchodu.

Finally, Lenka found a small, inconspicuous hallway leading to a service entrance.

„Rychle, tudy!

"Quick, this way!"

“ řekla.

she said.

Jakmile dosáhli dveří, otevřely se a oni vyšli ven do chladné noci.

As soon as they reached the doors, they opened, and they stepped out into the chilly night.

Jakub se zastavil a vzal Lenku za ruku.

Jakub stopped and took Lenka's hand.

„Děkuju,“ řekl s úsměvem, „bez tebe bychom to asi nezvládli.

"Thank you," he said with a smile, "without you, we probably wouldn't have managed."

“ Lenka se zasmála.

Lenka laughed.

„A ty mě donutíš být trochu odvážnější příště,“ dodala.

"And you make me a bit braver next time," she added.

Světlomety nočního hlídače se objevily na dosah.

The headlights of the night guard appeared within reach.

Jakub a Lenka rychle utíkali sněhem pryč od muzea.

Jakub and Lenka quickly ran through the snow away from the museum.

Zdaleka za sebou slyšeli slabé zvuky exponátů, které se pomalu uklidňovaly.

In the distance behind them, they heard the faint sounds of the exhibits slowly calming down.

Noc v Praze byla klidná a Jakub s Lenkou si slíbili, že příště si návštěvu užijí za denního světla.

The night in Prague was peaceful, and Jakub and Lenka promised that next time they would enjoy the visit in daylight.
