Všude kolem nich se hemžili turisté a místní lidé, kteří slavili První máj s úsměvem a radostí.

All around them were bustling tourists and locals celebrating the May 1st holiday with smiles and joy.

„Podívej, tam je zmrzlinový stánek,“ ukázal Jakub směrem, kde se pěkně šplhala řada lidí.

"Look, there's an ice cream stand," Jakub pointed to where a line of people was nicely forming.

Chtěl si dát zmrzlinu a užít si den s Petrou venku.

He wanted to have some ice cream and enjoy the day outside with Petra.

Petra přikývla.

Petra nodded.

„Skvěle, pojďme.

"Great, let's go.

Už se těším na tu zmrzlinu.

I'm looking forward to that ice cream."

“ Jakub a Petra se zařadili do řady, aniž by si všimli, že lidé kolem nich byli oblečeni v historických kostýmech.

Jakub and Petra joined the line without noticing that the people around them were dressed in historical costumes.

„Zdá se, že tady slaví nějakou slavnost,“ řekla Petra a obdivovala oblečení ostatních.

"It seems like they're celebrating some kind of festivity here," Petra remarked, admiring the clothing of others.

Byla nadšená, že může vidět něco tak zajímavého.

She was excited to see something so interesting.

„Hm, možná dostaneme zmrzlinu zdarma, když vypadáme jako součást programu,“ zažertoval Jakub, netušíc, že za chvíli budou hrát roli v historické rekonstrukci.

"Hmm, maybe we'll get ice cream for free if we look like part of the program," joked Jakub, unaware that soon they would play a role in a historical reenactment.

Když řada postoupila a oni se přiblížili, zjistili, že nejsou u zmrzlinového stánku, ale u vstupu do historické prohlídky.

As the line moved and they got closer, they realized they weren't at an ice cream stand but at the entrance to a historical tour.

Jakub se zarazil, ale nechtěl způsobit trapas.

Jakub paused, but he didn't want to cause a scene.

Rozhodl se pokračovat a projít se Petrou nádvořím.

He decided to continue and walk with Petra through the courtyard.

„Vypadá to, že budeme součástí této historické scénky,“ zašeptal Petra potěšeně.

"It looks like we'll be part of this historical scene," Petra whispered delightedly.

Oba dostali kostýmy a rychle se oblékli.

Both of them were given costumes and quickly dressed.

Během jednoho důležitého výstupu si Petra spletla rekvizitu se lžící a pokusila se s ní nabrat imaginární zmrzlinu.

During one important part of the performance, Petra mistook a prop for a spoon and tried to scoop imaginary ice cream with it.

Okolní skupina neudržela smích.

The surrounding group couldn't hold back their laughter.

Jakub a Petra byli zpočátku zaskočení, ale smát se začali i oni.

Jakub and Petra were initially taken aback, but they too began to laugh.

Vedoucí prohlídky přišel k nim a usmíval se.

The tour guide approached them, smiling.

“Jakub s Petrou nemohli uvěřit svému štěstí.

Koupili si zmrzlinu, kterou si původně přáli, a seděli se posadili na lavičku.

Když slunce pomalu klesalo, zamysleli se nad celým dnem.

As the sun slowly set, they reflected on the entire day.

„Víš, někdy je nejlepší věci prostě nechat běžet, jak chtějí,“ řekl Jakub.

"You know, sometimes it's best to just let things happen as they will," said Jakub.

„Souhlasil Petra,“ ale teď si budu dávat pozor, kam se postavím do řady.

"I agree," Petra added, "but now I'll be more careful about which line I join."

Both of them laughed and enjoyed the breathtaking view of Pražský hrad in the setting sun.
