Sheep Storm: A Parade Day to Remember
Roedd yr awel yn chwythu'n fwyn trwy strydoedd Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
The wind was blowing gently through the streets of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
Ym mhlas Elin, roedd heddwch, ond nid am hir.
In Elin's heart, there was peace, but not for long.
Roedd Elin a'i ffrind Rhys wedi cael swydd bwysig ar ddiwrnod y parêd mawr - gofalu am y praidd defaid.
Elin and her friend Rhys had gotten an important job on the big parade day - taking care of the flock of sheep.
"Eleni, bydd hwn yn wahanol," meddai Rhys wrth Elin, "diwrnod cofiadwy i bawb.
"This year, this will be different," Rhys said to Elin, "a memorable day for everyone."
"Ond nid oedd Elin yn gwybod faint o wir y byddai yn ei eiriau.
But Elin didn’t know how true his words would be.
Wrth iddi gamu at y giât lle roedd y defaid yn pori, gwelodd Elin fod clo wedi rhyddhau.
As she approached the gate where the sheep were grazing, Elin realized that a fence had been released.
Cyn iddi allu gweiddi am gymorth, roedd y defaid yn rhedeg fel tonnau gwyllt tuag at y stryd.
Before she could shout for help, the sheep ran like wild waves towards the street.
"Torrwyd y garreg!
"The stone broke!"
" gwaeddodd Elin, wrth i Rhys redeg ati, "Mae'n rhaid i ni arbed y dydd!
Elin shouted, as Rhys ran towards her, "We must save the day!"
"Yn y stryd, roedd y band pres yn chwarae a'r dorf yn canu.
In the street, the brass band was playing and the crowd was singing.
Doedd neb yn sylweddoli'r storm a oedd ar fin taro.
No one noticed the storm that was about to hit.
Yna, gyda thanc o droedion bach, daeth y defaid, a dechreuodd yr anhrefn.
Then, with a clang of little feet, the sheep came, and the chaos began.
Elin a Rhys yn awr yn hollol benderfynol, rhoddodd gilydd edrych o synnwyr.
Elin and Rhys, now completely determined, gave each other a look of understanding.
Maent yn gwybod eu bod yn rhaid gweithredu.
They knew they had to act.
Elin a Rhys yn cymryd pob un ohonynt hobïau sgwâr - Elin yn dechrau o'r gogledd a Rhys o'r de.
Elin and Rhys took on each of their square responsibilities - Elin starting from the north and Rhys from the south.
Gyda chymorth y gymuned, a dadorchuddio sgiliau anghyffredin Elin i gyfathrebu â'r anifeiliaid, dyma'r defaid yn dechrau mynd yn ôl i gyfeiriad y cae.
With the help of the community, and uncovering Elin's extraordinary skills to communicate with the animals, the sheep began to head back in the direction of the field.
Yn y diwedd, roedd y praidd yn ôl yn eu cae, a'r parêd yn parhau heb neb y doethach.
In the end, the flock was back in their field, and the parade continued without any wiser.
Roedd Elin a Rhys wedi cael antur bythgofiadwy, ond roeddent yn dal yn dawel am y digwyddiad.
Elin and Rhys had had an unforgettable adventure, but they were still quiet about the incident.
"Rydym wedi gwneud yn dda," meddai Elin â gwên, yn ysgwyd llaw Rhys.
"We have done well," said Elin with a smile, shaking Rhys's hand.
Ac roedd yn wir.
And it was true.
Roeddent wedi achub y dydd mewn ffordd nad oedd unrhyw un yn ei ddisgwyl.
They had saved the day in a way that no one expected.
Roedd yr heddwch wedi dychwelyd i Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, a roedd ymddiriedaeth newydd wedi ei ffurfio rhwng dau ffrind a'u cymuned.
Peace had returned to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, and a new trust had been formed between two friends and their community.
