Ar noson oer a serennog ym mis Hydref, roedd Dylan yn teithio trwy Gymru.
On a cold and starry evening in October, Dylan was traveling through Wales.
Daeth i bentref bychan iawn gyda enw hir iawn: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
He came to a very small village with a very long name: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
Roedd eisiau cyrraedd y dafarn leol ond roedd wedi colli ei ffordd.
He wanted to reach the local pub but had lost his way.
"Helô, faswn i'n hoffi gofyn am gyfarwyddiadau," gofynnodd Dylan i Gwen, merch ifanc oedd yn sefyll wrth y siop leol.
"Hello, I would like to ask for directions," Dylan asked Gwen, a young girl standing by the local shop.
"Sure, i ble wyt ti angen mynd?" atebodd Gwen gyda gwên.
"Sure, where do you need to go?" Gwen replied with a smile.
"Gyda llaw, mae gen i ofyn, sut chi'n dweud enw'r lle hwn?" holodd Dylan yn gywirdeb, gan awgrymu at yr arwydd enfawr sy'n dangos yr enw hir.
"By the way, I have to ask, how do you say the name of this place?" asked Dylan, pointing towards the huge sign showing the long name.
Gwen dechrau chwerthin, "Wel, mae'n dechrau fel 'Llanfair'..." ond wrth iddi geisio dilyn y syllables ar ôl, roedd ei thafodiaith yn troi'r geiriau i jumble doniol o synau.
Gwen started to laugh, "Well, it starts with 'Llanfair'..." but as she tried to follow the syllables after, her accent turned the words into a funny jumble of sounds.
Dylan edrychodd yn ddryslyd. "Felly, 'Llanfair' rhywbeth?"
Dylan looked puzzled. "So, 'Llanfair' something?"
Ar hynny, Lleucu, hen ffermwr a adnabyddai'r pentref fel cefn ei law, ymddangosodd. "Ble rwyt ti'n mynd, hogia?" gofynnodd mewn llais garw.
At that moment, Lleucu, an old farmer who knew the village like the back of her hand, appeared. "Where are you off to, lads?" she asked in a gruff voice.
Dylan esbonio, "Dwi angen cyrraedd y dafarn ar gyfer cynulliad teuluol, ond dwi ddim yn gwybod sut i ddweud enw'r lle hwn."
Dylan explained, "I need to reach the pub for a family gathering, but I don't know how to say the name of this place."
Lleucu chwerthin gyda Gwen a cheisio ei darllen hefyd, ond y gwir oedd doedd hi ddim yn syml iddo fo chwaith. "Sori, fe, mae pawb yma yn galw fo'n 'Llanfair PG' fel arfer."
Lleucu laughed with Gwen and tried to read it too, but the truth was it wasn't simple for him either. "Sorry, lad, everyone around here usually just calls it 'Llanfair PG'."
Dylan gofalodd yn ofalus ar y ffordd yng nghwmni Gwen a Lleucu, a chan ddefnyddio'r llysenw newydd 'Llanfair PG', daeth o'r diwedd i'r dafarn lle roedd ei deulu yn aros.
Dylan carefully navigated the road in the company of Gwen and Lleucu, and by using the new nickname 'Llanfair PG', he finally arrived at the pub where his family was waiting.
Wrth iddynt gyrraedd, roedd yr holl deulu yn rhoi croeso cynnes iddo, diolchgar ei fod wedi cyrraedd yn ddiogel.
As they arrived, the whole family warmly welcomed him, grateful that he had arrived safely.
Wrth i'r noson fynd yn ei blaen, roedd Dylan yn adrodd hanes ei antur ac anhawster ynganu'r enw hiraf yn Ewrop.
As the evening went on, Dylan recounted the story of his adventure and the difficulty in pronouncing the longest name in Europe.
Roedd pawb yn chwerthin a mwynhau'r stori.
Everyone laughed and enjoyed the story.
Yn y diwedd, penderfynodd Dylan a'i deulu fod 'Llanfair PG' yn enw berffaith i'r pentref bach gyda'r enw mawr.
In the end, Dylan and his family decided that 'Llanfair PG' was the perfect name for the small village with the long name.
Ac felly, roedd y penbleth wedi'i ddatrys, a'r antur wedi dod i ben yn hapus, gyda Dylan yn cael noson anghofiadwy yng nghwmni ei deulu a'r pentrefwyr doniol o 'Llanfair PG'.
And so, the puzzle was solved, and the adventure came to a happy end, with Dylan having an unforgettable evening in the company of his family and the humorous villagers of 'Llanfair PG'.
