Picnic Mix-Up at Conwy's Castle
Roedd hi'n bore cymylog ym Mharc Conwy.
It was a cloudy morning in Conwy Park.
Rhys, Eleri a Owain oedd y cyntaf i gyrraedd am bicnic Dydd Gŵyl Dewi.
Rhys, Eleri, and Owain were the first to arrive for a St. David's Day picnic.
Ar ochr orllewinol Castell Conwy, lle mae'r olion o wal hynafol yn cofleidio'r goedwig gwyrdd, roedden nhw'n gosod eu blanced yn araf.
On the western side of Conwy Castle, where the remains of an ancient wall embraced the green woodland, they set their blanket down slowly.
Rhys, dyn ifanc siaradus gyda mwgwd melyn, roedd wedi dod â chennin ar gyfer yr achlysur arbennig.
Rhys, a young man with a talkative nature and a yellow scarf, had brought leeks for the special occasion.
Eleri, merch chwareus gyda gwallt coch fel fflam, roedd hi wedi paratoi brechdanau blasus ar gyfer pawb.
Eleri, a playful girl with fiery red hair, had prepared delicious sandwiches for everyone.
Owain, y dyn callaf yn y grŵp, oedd gyda'r stori i’w hadrodd yn ystod y bwyd.
Owain, the wisest in the group, had a story to tell during the meal.
Wrth baratoi'r bwydlenni, rhannodd Rhys stori a chwerthin â Eleri.
While preparing the menu, Rhys shared stories and laughter with Eleri.
Roedd Owain yn brysur yn arsylwi adar trwy ei ysbienddrych.
Owain was busy observing birds through his binoculars.
Gan nad oedd yn talu sylw, cyfnewidiodd Rhys yn ddamweiniol ei genhinen am sandwich Eleri.
Not paying attention, Rhys accidentally swapped his leek for Eleri's sandwich.
Yn fuan, roedd pawb yn barod i fwynhau'r picnic.
Soon, everyone was ready to enjoy the picnic.
Rhys, yn llawn awydd, agorodd ei fasged a gafodd sioc.
Rhys, eager to taste his sandwich, opened his bag and was shocked.
Yn lle ei genhinen, roedd brechdan enfawr Eleri.
Instead of his leek, there was Eleri's giant sandwich.
"Beth sy'n digwydd yma?
"What's happening here?!"
" meddai, yn edrych ar Owain mewn dryswch.
he said, looking at Owain in confusion.
Owain, yn troi o'i ysbienddrych, chwerthinodd yn uchel wrth ddeall y camgymeriad.
Owain, turning from his binoculars, laughed out loud at the mistake.
Eleri, hefyd yn drysu, edrychodd i mewn i'w fasged a gweld y genhinen.
Eleri, also puzzled, looked in her bag and saw the leek.
"Oh, Rhys," meddai â gwên, "dyw e ddim yn brechdan iawn, ond rwy'n siŵr bod dy genhinen yn flasus iawn!
"Oh, Rhys," she said with a smile, "that's not a sandwich at all, but I'm sure your leek is very tasty!"
" Gwnaeth Owain sylw ddoniol am dynged y genhinen a chwerthinon nhw i gyd gyda'i gilydd.
Owain made a funny comment about the fate of the leek, and they all laughed together.
Rhys, yn teimlo ychydig bach yn embaras, wrth droi'n goch, chwaraeodd y digwyddiad i ffwrdd â hwyl.
Rhys, feeling a bit embarrassed, turned slightly red and played off the incident with humor.
Cyfnewidiodd nhw'r bwydydd yn ôl, ac aeth y picnic yn ei flaen gyda mwy o chwerthin a straeon.
They exchanged the food back, and the picnic continued with more laughter and stories.
Erbyn diwedd y picnic, roedd pawb wedi bwyta eu llen a'r haul wedi torri drwy'r cymylau.
By the end of the picnic, they had eaten their fill and the sun had broken through the clouds.
Roedd Castell Conwy y tu ôl iddyn nhw yn edrych fel castell hud, yn dyst i'w dydd gwyl arbennig ac i'r gymysgedd doniol.
Conwy Castle behind them looked like a magical fortress, a testament to their special day and the amusing mix-up.
Ac fel hyn, gyda chwerthiniad a chyfeillgarwch, gorffennodd eu Dydd Gŵyl Dewi yng nghysgod hanes.
And so, with laughter and friendship, they concluded their St. David's Day in the shadow of history.
