  • Oedd hi'n ddiwrnod hyfryd ym mhentref enwog Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

It was a beautiful day in the famous village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

  • Rhys, dyn ifanc â gwallt coppog, oedd yn cerdded ar hyd y stryd fawr.

Rhys, a young man with curly hair, was walking along the main street.

  • Roedd yn edrych am gaffi i gael paned o de.

He was looking for a café to have a cup of tea.

  • Camodd Rhys i mewn i gaffi cyntaf a chanfod bod yr enw'n debyg i'r hyn oedd wedi ei weld ar y bwrdd croeso yn y dre - "Caffi Gwyn".

Rhys stepped into the first café and found that the name was similar to what he had seen on the welcome board in the town - "Caffi Gwyn".

  • Eisteddodd lawr a gorchymyn paned a chacen.

He sat down and ordered a cup of tea and a cake.

  • Roedd Elin yn gweini, merch dawel â gwên fawr.

Elin served him, a quiet girl with a big smile.

  • Siaradodd hi â Rhys am y tywydd a'r bwyd.

She talked to Rhys about the weather and the food.

  • Ar ôl gorffen ei de, Rhys aeth allan, gan benderfynu cerdded ychydig cyn mynd adref.

After finishing his tea, Rhys went out, deciding to walk a bit before going home.

  • Ond, heb sylwi, daeth across caffi arall "Caffi Gwyrdd".

But, without noticing, he came across another café "Caffi Gwyrdd".

  • Meddylodd Rhys, "Dim ond un munud, dyma'r un lle yr oeddwn i'n sefyll yn union awr yn ôl, onte?"

Rhys thought, "Just a minute, this is the exact place I was standing in just now, right?"

  • Gyda chymysgedd, eisteddodd i lawr eto a gorchmynnodd gacen a phaned arall.

With a mix of emotions, he sat down again and ordered another cake and cup of tea.

  • Gwasanethodd Dafydd y tro hwn, bwrdd cyfarch gydag uchel ac egnïol, "Croeso nôl!".

Dafydd served him this time, a welcoming board with loud and energetic greetings, "Welcome back!".

  • Roedd Rhys ychydig yn ddryslyd ond anghofiodd am hyn gan fod y cacen mor flasus.

Rhys felt a bit silly but forgot all about it because the cake was so delicious.

  • Daeth prynhawn a Rhys yn teimlo'n lwglyd eto.

The afternoon passed and Rhys felt peckish again.

  • Fel rhyfeddod, mae'n cyrraedd caffi arall heb sylwi fod enw gwahanol arno, 'Caffi Plas Gwyn'.

Strangely, he reached another café without noticing a different name on it, 'Caffi Plas Gwyn'.

  • Roeddwn wedi sicrhau mai'r un caffi oedd.

He was sure it was the same café.

  • Felly, arhosodd am y trydydd tro ac archebodd paned a brechdan.

So, he stayed for the third time and ordered a tea and a sandwich.

  • Yn y diwedd, wrth gerdded adref, daeth Rhys ar draws y pedwaredd caffi "Gwyn a Gwyrdd" a dechreuodd chwerthin.

Finally, on his way back, Rhys came across the fourth café "Gwyn a Gwyrdd" and started to laugh.

  • Sylweddolodd mai pedwar lle gwahanol oeddent.

He realized they were four different places.

  • Y diwrnod canlynol, dychwelodd Rhys i bob un o'r caffis, gan chwerthin gyda Elin, Dafydd, a'r holl weithwyr am ei gamgymeriad doniol.

The next day, Rhys returned to each of the cafes, laughing with Elin, Dafydd, and all the workers about his funny mistake.

  • Cynnigodd pob un discounts iddo, ac o hynny ymlaen, enillodd ffrindiau a llefydd newydd i ymweld â hwy yn y pentref hir-enw hwnnw.

Each one offered him discounts, and from then on, he gained new friends and places to visit in that long-named village.

  • Erbyn diwedd y mis, roedd gan Rhys ei hoff gaffi yn glir, ond byth eto wnaeth camgymeru un ar gyfer y llall.

By the end of the month, Rhys had his favorite café clear, but never again did he mistake one for the other.

  • Ac felly, mewn pentref gyda'r enw hiraf, dysgodd Rhys fod bob croeso yng Nghymru, hyd yn oed pan fydd hi'n digwydd pedair gwaith yn y dydd!

And so, in a village with the longest name, Rhys learned that every welcome in Wales is special, even when it happens four times a day!
