In the embrace of the suburban hills, where the Brecon Beacons boast of their natural beauty, Gwyneth was planning something very special.

"He needs to rest and enjoy himself."

"And we know now is the right time," replied Carys calmly as she presented the canned fish and the fresh loaf of bread.

"Rydw i'n siŵr y bydd popeth yn mynd yn iawn.

"I'm sure everything will go well."

" Ond gyda'r awyr yn lleddydu'n anghyson – cymylau a glaw wrth y gorwel – roedd cynllun Gwyneth dan fygythiad.

But with the sky turning inconsistently – clouds and rain on the horizon – Gwyneth's plan was under threat.
