  • Wrth i'r gwynt cryfach chwythu trwy ddail aur coedwig Eryri, teithiodd Carys ei llwybr ingol i'r fynwent cuddiedig.

As the strong wind blew through the golden leaves of Eryri's forest, Carys traveled her arduous path to the hidden cemetery.

  • Roedd hi'n wynebu her fawr iawn.

She was facing a very great challenge.

  • Wedi addo i’w mamgu, roedd hi yma i geisio'r etifeddiaeth coll, mwclis wythol teuluol aroddai'r hanesion iddi.

Having promised her mamgu, she was here to seek the lost inheritance, a family heirloom necklace as the stories had recounted to her.

  • Roedd y llwybrau'n lletchwith ac yn llithrig o'r glaw cyson, ond roedd Carys yn benderfynol.

The paths were treacherous and slippery from the constant rain, but Carys was determined.

  • Gan wybod bod ei theulu yn cefnogi ei hymdrechion o bell, roedd hi'n symud ymlaen, gan gael ei hebrwng gan lais tawel ei mamgu yn ei meddwl yn dweud, "Ti'n gryf.

Knowing her family supported her efforts from afar, she moved forward, accompanied by her mamgu's quiet voice in her mind saying, "You're strong."

  • "Roedd pawb yn y pentref wedi clywed y hen straeon am y tlysau a oedd yn guddio yn nhadell gwallgof o’r cloddiad ar hyd y blynyddoedd.

Everyone in the village had heard the old tales about the jewels hidden in the madman's excavation throughout the years.

  • Dim ond yn yr hydref roedd hi'n bosib canfod mynediad i'r ogof oherwydd y dŵr yn y gwanwyn a'r haf yn llawn.

Only in the autumn was it possible to find access to the cave because of the water in the spring and summer being full.

  • Byddai'r storm yn tyfu, a'r niwl yn symud lawr o'r mynyddoedd fel llen o niwlog.

The storm would grow, and the mist would descend from the mountains like a foggy curtain.

  • Stopiodd Carys am ginio, yn llafurio i fynd heibio i ei meddyliau ei hunig amheuaeth.

Carys stopped for lunch, laboring to get past her own thoughts of doubt.

  • "Ai dwi’n cael fy rhwystro yma gan fy ofnau fy hun?

"Am I being thwarted here by my own fears?"

  • " gofynnodd hi.

    she asked.

  • Yn sydyn, daeth swn y don yn ychwanegu cyflymder, a'r storm yn cau mewn.

Suddenly, the sound of the waves increased in speed, and the storm closed in.

  • Roedd hi'n gwybod ei bod yn rhaid iddi naill ai symud ymlaen nawr neu golli'r cyfle tan y flwyddyn nesaf.

She knew she had to either move forward now or lose the chance until next year.

  • Wrth gael ei lethu gan y glaw a oedd yn dioddef, dilynodd yr isafswm o olion i ogof cuddiedig.

Overwhelmed by the relentless rain, she followed the faintest of tracks to the hidden cave.

  • Pan gyrhaeddodd, roedd hi wedi'i wlychu trwy a thrwy, ond yn dal i gofio celain ei mamgu yn codi gwen.

When she arrived, she was soaked through and through, but she still remembered her mamgu's spirit raising a smile.

  • Wrth ddod yn nes at y gweladwydd llachar o fewn y gosg, sgubodd Carys yr holl amheuo i ffwrdd.

As she got closer to the bright luminescence within the cave, Carys swept away all doubt.

  • Oherwydd y fam syfrdanol y gallai dim ond bod yn ei safle, roedd hi bellach i weld y tlysau yn disgleirio dan olau'r fflachlamp.

With the maternal astonishment that could only come from being in her place, she now saw the jewels shining under the flashlight's beam.

  • Roedd yr holl helyntion, y llwybrau peryglus a'r storm yn werth yr her.

All the ordeals, the dangerous paths, and the storm were worth the challenge.

  • Sefyll ar y traed stancio, gan ddod yn ystod y glaw, gan wrando ar y stori retroddedig a oedd yn arwain hi yma, sylweddolodd Carys ei fod wedi ennill llawer mwy na dim ond mwclis.

Standing on shaky feet, drenched by the rain, listening to the retold story that had led her here, Carys realized she had gained much more than just a necklace.

  • Roedd y profiad wedi'i gyfathrebu â'i gwreiddiau, wedi cryfhau ei gredoedd a'i hunan-barch.

The experience had connected her with her roots, strengthened her beliefs, and her self-esteem.

  • Daeth hi allan o'r ogof, anghofio'r storm a'r lhwyth.

She emerged from the cave, forgetting the storm and the burden.

  • I Carys, roedd y storm wedi cael ei drechu.

For Carys, the storm had been conquered.

  • Roedd hi’n falch, yn sicr bod hi yn awr yn parhau â’r cael blynyddoedd o hiraeth ei mamgu.

She was proud, certain that she now continued the years of longing of her mamgu.

  • Roedd hi mewn tawelwch a byddai'n dychwelyd i'w theulu i ddathlu, yn gwybod ei bod wedi deall gwerth gwirioneddol ei hetifeddiaeth.

She was at peace and ready to return to her family to celebrate, knowing she had understood the true value of her inheritance.
