  • Ar fore mwyn ym mis Hydref, cerddodd Rhian drwy ddyffryn niwlog yn y Deheudir.

On a gentle morning in October, Rhian walked through a misty valley in the Deheudir.

  • Roedd yr awyr yn dyner ac yn llawn arogl dail sych.

The air was mild and full of the scent of dry leaves.

  • Cerdded at y cylch cerrig hynafol oedd ei nod.

Her goal was to walk to the ancient stone circle.

  • Er bod pawb arall yn y pentref yn paratoi ar gyfer Gŵyl y Cynhaeaf, roedd ganddi waith pwysig iawn i'w wneud.

While everyone else in the village was preparing for the Harvest Festival, she had very important work to do.

  • Roedd Rhian yn hanesydd brwdfrydig, yn llawn awydd i brofi ei damcaniaethau am hen draddodiadau Cymreig.

Rhian was an enthusiastic historian, eager to prove her theories about old Welsh traditions.

  • Roedd y cylch cerrig yn cuddio hanesion na ddarganfyddwyd eto.

The stone circle concealed tales that had not yet been discovered.

  • Hebryngodd ymosodiad Dafydd, ei gwrthwynebydd academaidd, fwy fyth ei hegni.

The assault on her efforts by Dafydd, her academic rival, fueled her energy even more.

  • Amledd oedd wedi bod yn ceisio tanseilio'i hymdrechion.

He frequently tried to undermine her efforts.

  • Wedi cyrraedd y cylch cerrig, dechreuodd archwilio.

Upon reaching the stone circle, she began to explore.

  • Roedd y cerrig, yn cael eu gorchuddio â mwsogl ac ynddynt arysgrifau anhygyrch, yn sefyll fel cewri tawel.

The stones, covered in moss and bearing indecipherable inscriptions, stood like silent giants.

  • Roedd llyfrau o mewn cwch ar ben y cerrig.

There were books inside a nook on top of the stones.

  • Ar un adeg, yn fan sydyn, gwelodd Rhian arteffact yn disgleirio'n rhyfedd rhwng y cerrig.

At one point, suddenly, Rhian saw an artifact glittering strangely between the stones.

  • Ymddangosai i fod yn athrylithiaeth ddrudfawr.

It appeared to be of brilliant craftsmanship.

  • Roedd hynny'n ddarllediad da i'w gwaith ysgrifenedig, a dim ond trwy ddeall yr arteffact hyn allai Rhian brofi ei damcaniaethau.

This was a good omen for her written work, and only by understanding this artifact could Rhian prove her theories.

  • Roedd angen iddi aros yno dros nos, er peryglon.

She needed to stay there overnight, despite the dangers.

  • Ym noson yr Ŵyl y Cynhaeaf, pan fyddai'r lleuad yn gyflawn, dechreuodd y cerrig ganu gyda grym.

On the night of the Harvest Festival, when the moon was full, the stones began to sing with power.

  • Roedd y disgleirdeb o fewn yr arteffact yn gynyddol gref.

The brightness within the artifact became increasingly strong.

  • Roedd rhywbeth arbennig yn digwydd.

    Something extraordinary was happening.

  • Gwaeddodd Dafydd arni gan annog hi i adael, ond ni fyddai Rhian yn rhoddi'r gorau.

Dafydd shouted at her urging her to leave, but Rhian wouldn’t give up.

  • Wedi talu sylw manwl i'r symbolau, daeth yr ateb iddi.

Paying close attention to the symbols, the answer came to her.

  • Dadorchuddiodd neges guddiedig yn lleisio gwawdlun o ddylanwad eu hysbrydion hynafol.

She uncovered a hidden message echoing a parody of the influence of their ancient spirits.

  • Yn ystod deffroad y lleuad llawn, torrodd dopog pebble, gan ddatgelu cysyniad newydd am hanes’r Druidiaid.

During the awakening of the full moon, a pebble's top broke, revealing a new concept about the history of the Druids.

  • Datblygodd, trwy'r holl brofiad, fod Rhian ddim angen diswyddio Dafydd fel gelyn.

Through the entire experience, Rhian realized she didn't need to dismiss Dafydd as an enemy.

  • Dechreuodd ar y cyd ar y gwaith, gan gydweithio.

    They began working together, collaborating.

  • Arweiniodd y gwasanaeth ar y cylch cerrig at bwysig ehangach na’r ddau.

The service at the stone circle led to a significance wider than the two of them.

  • Roedd cymdeithas ar gyfer Gŵyl y Cynhaeaf wedi darganfod gwybodaeth newydd, ac roedd Rhian wedi dod i deimlo'n sicr yn ei gwaith academaidd.

The Harvest Festival society had discovered new information, and Rhian had come to feel assured in her academic work.

  • Wrth iddi droi yn ôl i'r dyffryn, roedd Rhian yn teimlo bod dechreuad newydd o flaen y golau, a'r grawys cymhleth iawn yn ei bywyd yn drawsolid ar gyfer y tro cyntaf.

As she turned back to the valley, Rhian felt that a new beginning lay ahead in the light, and the very complex tapestry of her life was solidified for the first time.

  • Roedd hi bellach yn fwy hyderus a pharod i gydweithio ar gyfer dyfodol llawn mwy o anterth.

She was now more confident and ready to collaborate for a future filled with even greater achievement.
