  • Wrth i heulwen haf ddisgleirio dros yr ysgol gerllaw â'r gymuned frodorol oedd yn dathlu Gŵyl Eisteddfod, roedd awyrgylch bywiog o gyffro yn llenwi'r lle.

As the summer sunlight shone over the school nearby with the local community celebrating the Gŵyl Eisteddfod, there was a lively atmosphere of excitement filling the place.

  • Y tu mewn i'r awditoriwm, roedd lliwiau bywiog o faneri a phatrymau Cymreig traddodiadol yn hongian o'r waliau.

Inside the auditorium, vibrant colors of banners and traditional Welsh patterns hung from the walls.

  • Ysbiendai pobl trwy'r ffenestri at stondinau crefft allanol, lle llifai cerddoriaeth ac arogl bwyd yn ysgafn ar yr awel haf.

People peeked through the windows at the outdoor craft stalls, where music flowed, and the scent of food lightly danced on the summer breeze.

  • Yn ystafell gerddoriaeth yr ysgol, roedd Rhian, myfyrwraig hyderus ac egnïol, yn ymarfer ei llais gyda gwên ar ei hwyneb.

In the school's music room, Rhian, a confident and energetic student, was practicing her voice with a smile on her face.

  • Gerllaw, roedd Gareth, ei gyfaill dosbarth, yn edrych yn wyliog ar ei ddalen o nodiadau cerddorol.

Nearby, Gareth, her classmate, looked anxiously at his sheet of musical notes.

  • Islais oedd ei gân yn ei ben, ond y pryder a safai fel cysgod mawr dros ei freuddwydion cerddorol.

His song was just a whisper in his head, but anxiety stood like a large shadow over his musical dreams.

  • "Gareth, paid bod ofnus," meddai Rhian yn bendant ond yn gynnnes.

"Gareth, don't be afraid," said Rhian firmly but warmly.

  • "Mae'r Eisteddfod yn gyfle i ddangos ein treftadaeth.

"The Eisteddfod is an opportunity to showcase our heritage.

  • Byddwn ni'n ei wneud gyda'n gilydd."

    We'll do it together."

  • Gwenodd Gareth, er yn nerfus.

    Gareth smiled, though nervously.

  • "Dw i eisiau canu'r gân werin yna," atebodd yn llawn ansicrwydd.

"I want to sing that folk song," he replied full of uncertainty.

  • "Ond ar wahân, dw i ddim yn siŵr alla i wneud e."

"But on my own, I'm not sure I can do it."

  • Roedd Rhian yn gwybod bod Gareth yn dalentog, ac nid oedd yn amau ei allu.

Rhian knew that Gareth was talented, and she did not doubt his ability.

  • "Unwaith fyddi di ar y llwyfan, bydd popeth yn teimlo'n naturiol," cymeradwyaeth hi.

"Once you’re on stage, everything will feel natural," she assured.

  • "Gad i mi dy gefnogi di."

    "Let me support you."

  • Y diwrnod canlynol, wrth i'r gŵyl ddechrau ei chwythian caru dynn, roedd y ddau yn eistedd ar lwyfan yr awditoriwm a leinwyd â chefnogwyr brwd.

The next day, as the festival began to weave its loving charm, the two sat on the stage of the auditorium lined with enthusiastic supporters.

  • Roedd y goleuadau'n boethi, ac roedd y llwyfan yn teimlo'n anfeidrol mawr i Gareth.

The lights were warm, and the stage felt infinitely large to Gareth.

  • Dechreuodd Rhian ganu, ei llais yn lan, yn poblo ei hyder i'r gynulleidfa.

Rhian began to sing, her voice clear, infusing her confidence into the audience.

  • Cydiodd Gareth yn ei dân a dywedodd â'i hun nad oedd angen iddo fod yn ofnus; roedd ei gyfaill yma i'w gefnogi.

Gareth seized his courage and told himself he didn’t need to be afraid; his friend was here to support him.

  • Pan daeth ei dro i ymuno, cododd ei ben ac agorodd ei geg, gan adael i'w lais gyrraedd y meddwl.

When it was his turn to join, he lifted his head and opened his mouth, letting his voice reach out.

  • Roedd y sain yn dyner, yn symud trwy'r awditoriwm fel gwynt ysgafn, a phan sylweddolodd Gareth bod y gynulleidfa'n gwrando'n astud, deimlodd galon ei ofnau gilio i'r cysgodion.

The sound was gentle, moving through the auditorium like a light breeze, and when Gareth realized that the audience was listening intently, he felt the heart of his fears retreat into the shadows.

  • Roedd y perfformiad yn prifseinio â'r ddau lais yn cydblethu'n berffaith, gyda Rhian yn rhoi calon i Gareth trwy symudiadau bach betrusgaddol.

The performance was magnificent, with the two voices intertwining perfectly, Rhian giving heart to Gareth through small encouraging gestures.

  • Pan ddaeth y gân i ben, torrodd y gynulleidfa i gymeradwyaeth lawn gwerthfawrogiad.

When the song ended, the audience burst into full appreciative applause.

  • Teimlodd Gareth ddryswch cyfforddgar yn llenwi'i galon.

Gareth felt a comforting sense of bewilderment filling his heart.

  • Roedd wedi gwneud e!

    He had done it!

  • Wedi'r perfformiad, ymunodd Rhian â Gareth, a thaflodd ei breichiau am ei ysgwydd.

After the performance, Rhian joined Gareth and threw her arms around his shoulders.

  • "Dyma wyt ti! Dw i'n falch iawn o ti, Gareth."

"There you are! I’m so proud of you, Gareth."

  • Gwenodd Gareth, wedi'i lenwi â hyder newydd.

Gareth smiled, filled with newfound confidence.

  • "Diolch i ti, Rhian.

    "Thanks to you, Rhian.

  • Hebddo ti, allwn i ddim gwneud e."

Without you, I couldn't have done it."

  • Roedd yr haul yn machlud ar y digwyddiad Eisteddfod.

The sun was setting on the Eisteddfod event.

  • Gwthiai gwynt ysgafn dros y coed a cherddodd pobl yn araf rhwng y stondinau.

A light breeze pushed over the trees as people walked slowly between the stalls.

  • Ar ôl gwireddu ei freuddwyd, roedd Gareth bellach yn gwybod ei allu a'r cryfder a ddaw o gyfeillgarwch a hyder.

After realizing his dream, Gareth now knew his ability and the strength that comes from friendship and confidence.

  • Roedd y gŵyl yn diweddu, ond dyma oedd ei ddechrau newydd yng ngherddoriaeth a bywyd.

The festival was ending, but this was his new beginning in music and life.
