  • Ar fore heulog yng nghanol haf, cerddodd Eira trwy strydoedd prydferth Rhiwderin.

On a sunny morning in the middle of summer, Eira walked through the beautiful streets of Rhiwderin.

  • Cafodd y pentref suburbanol ei amgylchynu gan fryniau glas a chytiau cerrig cain.

The suburban village was surrounded by green hills and elegant stone cottages.

  • Roedd y gerddi wedi'u trin yn berffaith, a'r awyrgylch yn llawn sŵn adar a chusanau bywiog y gwynt.

The gardens were perfectly tended, and the atmosphere was filled with the sound of birds and lively kisses of the wind.

  • Er iddi ymweld â'i fam-gu am yr haf, teimlai Eira yn ddiarth.

Although she was visiting her grandmother for the summer, Eira felt like a stranger.

  • Roedd Cai, ei chefnder, yn aros ar stepiau'r gât i’w chyfarch.

Cai, her cousin, was waiting on the gate steps to greet her.

  • "Sut wyt ti, Eira?" cychwynnodd e gyda gwên gynnes, tra’i bod hi'n brwydro i deimlo’n gartrefol.

"How are you, Eira?" he began with a warm smile, while she struggled to feel at home.

  • Roedd Gwyneth, ei modryb, yn paratoi paned wrth y bwrdd gegin, gan ei gwahodd i ymuno.

Gwyneth, her aunt, was preparing a cup of tea at the kitchen table, inviting her to join.

  • Lle roedd ei theulu'n llawn caredigrwydd, rhedodd Eira ei llaw trwy ei gwallt, yn teimlo fel y byddai'n hangach.

Where her family was full of kindness, Eira ran her hand through her hair, feeling like she would be lost.

  • Roedd y gegin yn llawn arogl bara ffres ac roedd y tŷ'n llawn atgofion, ond roedd Eira'n teimlo fel pe bai hi'n cael ei gwahardd o’u clwb arbennig.

The kitchen was full of the scent of fresh bread and the house full of memories, but Eira felt as if she was being excluded from their special club.

  • Felly, penderfynodd fynd ati i archwilio hen lyfr nodiadau.

So, she decided to go through an old notebook.

  • Yn ddiwedd y dydd, pan oedd y tywynnu haul eisoes yn canu lawer dipyn, dododd Eira un o gyfeillion ei mam-gu.

At the end of the day, when the sun's glow was already quite low, Eira discovered one of her grandmother's friends.

  • Brif wefr oedd y llyfr nodiadau a chofiadur di-ri ei mam-gu.

The main thrill was the notebook and countless memoirs of her grandmother.

  • Darllenodd Eira am hanes ei hargyfwng dros nos, pan weithredodd ei mam-gu yn ofnadwy o ddewr yn wyneb trychineb naturiol.

Eira read about the story of her grandmother's overnight crisis, when she acted incredibly bravely in the face of a natural disaster.

  • Gwnaethpwyd argraff arni gan nerth yr hen wraig, ac mi wnaeth hyn newid rhywbeth y tu mewn i'w chalon.

She was impressed by the strength of the old woman, and this changed something inside her heart.

  • Drwy eiriau’r llyfr nodiadau, llwyddodd Eira i deimlo'r gwreiddiau a oedd wedi digwydd ar hyd amser.

Through the words of the notebook, Eira managed to feel the roots that had established over time.

  • Daw seren wawr i Nos Sul, a daeth y ŵyl leol.

As the dawn star came to Nos Sul, the local festival arrived.

  • Bylchau gan lanternau, caneuon yn llenwi'r aer.

Gaps were filled by lanterns, and songs filled the air.

  • Roedd Eira yn dawnsio gyda'r pentrefwyr, ei chalon bellach yn ysgafnach, gyda’r ymdeimlad newydd hwn.

Eira danced with the villagers, her heart now lighter, with this new feeling.

  • Y noson honno, ardanau caru a sereniad cymuned fawr. Roedd Eira bellach yn teimlo cysylltiad â'u hanes.

That night, under arches of love and the serenade of a great community, Eira now felt connected to their history.

  • Roedd y blynyddoedd o giami yn tynnu'n lleddf, ac roedd pob dawns, pob cân yn sail iddi o'u treftadaeth.

The years of wandering eased, and every dance, every song was a foundation for her of their heritage.

  • Ac fel y daeth y seren ar dref y nos, roedd Eira yn wynebu cysur a chyfanrwydd yn Rhiwderin, yn gwybod yng nghalon ei chroeso bod lle iddi hi hefyd.

And as the star came over the town at night, Eira faced comfort and wholeness in Rhiwderin, knowing in her welcoming heart that there was a place for her too.

  • Roedd hi, o'r diwedd, wedi troi cartref.

    She had finally come home.
