  • Yn nhywelwch bore hydrefog, roedd y coed yn gwisgo lliwiau o ambr ac coch fel petai natur ei hun yn cefnogi'r pleidleisio.

In the tranquility of an autumn morning, the trees wore colors of amber and red as if nature itself supported the voting.

  • Roedd Gethin yn sefyll wrth arosfa bws ar ymyl stryd y pentref bach ger arfordir Cymru, ei law yn gynnes o gwmpas cerdyn pleidleisio.

Gethin stood at the bus stop on the edge of the small village street near the coast of Wales, his hand warm around a ballot card.

  • Gydag ef roedd Eira, sy'n dal i fod yn ansicr a oedd pleidleisio werth y drafferth.

With him was Eira, still uncertain whether voting was worth the trouble.

  • "Pam rydyn ni'n gwneud hyn eto?" gofynnodd hi, yn tynnu dyfais allan o'i phoced i wirio'r amser.

"Why are we doing this again?" she asked, pulling a device out of her pocket to check the time.

  • Roedd y bws yn hwyr, ac amser yn brin.

The bus was late, and time was short.

  • "Mae pob pleidlais yn cyfrif, Eira," meddai Gethin, yn cynnig gwên obeithiol.

"Every vote counts, Eira," said Gethin, offering a hopeful smile.

  • "Roedd fy nhad-cu bob amser yn dweud mai’r pleidlais yw llais y bobl.

"My grandfather always said that the vote is the voice of the people.

  • Unwaith, diolch i bleidlais, cafodd ysgol yr ardal ei harchu rhag cau."

Once, thanks to a vote, the local school was saved from closing."

  • Wrth iddynt aros, roedd cysgodion y gwanwyn yn goleuo; y farchnad ffermwyr wedi gadael y neuadd gymuned leol gyda rhesi o ffrwythau a llysiau’n addurno’r feranda.

As they waited, the shadows of spring brightened; the farmers' market had left the local community hall with rows of fruits and vegetables decorating the veranda.

  • Yn sydyn, arosfa tawel y bws weini allan wrth i'r bws o'r diwedd ddod i lawr y ffordd.

Suddenly, the quiet bus stop burst into life as the bus finally came down the road.

  • Ond eu rhyddhad yn fyr gan i’r bws stopio cynnigla ar ffin y pentref.

But their relief was short-lived as the bus stopped awkwardly at the edge of the village.

  • "Eira, rhaid i ni gerdded.

    "Eira, we have to walk.

  • Rydyn ni'n gwneud hyn!"

    We're doing this!"

  • Gan adael y bws ar ôl, roedd yr ddau yn symud ymlaen trwy’r tywydd crasboeth.

Leaving the bus behind, the two moved on through the scorching weather.

  • Gethin heb rhoi'r gorau i'w benderfyniad, arwain Eira dros y llwybr tuag at y neuadd bentref.

Gethin did not give up on his determination, leading Eira across the path toward the village hall.

  • Roedd Eira'n dechrau gofyn cwestiynau, ei llygaid yn tywynnu gyda chwilfrydedd.

Eira began to ask questions, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

  • "Beth mae'r polisïau yma'n medru gwneud dros y pentref?

"What can these policies do for the village?

  • Beth ydyn nhw'n addo i’r ffermwyr lleol?"

What are they promising the local farmers?"

  • "Mae gan bawb eu siawns i ddweud," atebodd Gethin, yn sibrwdros.

"Everyone gets their chance to say," responded Gethin, whispering.

  • "Pleidleisiau bach.

    "Small votes.

  • Effaith fawr."

    Big impact."

  • Fel cyrraedd y neuadd gymuned, roedd Eira'n teimlo'n gynyddol gyffrous wrth weld wynebau cyfarwydd ar fin gwneud eu pleidlais eu hunain.

As they arrived at the community hall, Eira felt increasingly excited seeing familiar faces about to cast their own votes.

  • "Gawn ni weld pwy sy’n caru’u cartref," meddyliodd Eira.

"Let's see who loves their home," Eira thought.

  • Pan gyrhaeddon nhw, oedd bron yn fin nos, agorodd y drysau ac roedd yr awyr yn llawn o sŵn croeso'r cymunedwyr.

When they arrived, it was nearly dusk, the doors opened, and the air was full of the welcoming sounds of the community members.

  • Eira, wedi ei hysbrydoli gan eiriau Gethin, cerddodd i mewn i’r neuadd, llawen gan roi ei phleidlais.

Eira, inspired by Gethin's words, walked into the hall, joyfully casting her vote.

  • Teimlai Gethin yn llawn balchder o weld Eira yn gwneud ei dewis.

Gethin felt full of pride seeing Eira make her choice.

  • Roedd bleidlais wedi cael ei bwrw a chymuned wedi'i hybu.

A vote had been cast, and a community had been encouraged.

  • Roedd dyfnder pleser wrth weld goleuni newydd yn ei llygaid.

There was a deep pleasure in seeing a new light in her eyes.

  • Wrth fynd allan o’r neuadd, y nos yn gorchuddio’r pentref â’i phalîd o liwiau hydref, roedd Eira’n teimlo rhan o’r gymuned cryfach na erioed.

Leaving the hall, the night covering the village with its palette of autumn colors, Eira felt a part of the community stronger than ever.

  • Roedd Gethin yn teimlo bod ei ymdrech wedi talu ar ei ganfed.

Gethin felt that his effort had paid off immensely.

  • Roedd dyfodol y pentref wedi’i siapio gan y ddwy law sydd wedi gweithio gyda’i gilydd ar y ffordd i’r neuadd.

The future of the village had been shaped by the two hands working together on the way to the hall.
