Copenhagen was wrapped in white, the snow dense and heavy like a blanket.

The streets swelled with a beautiful silence, broken only by people who wanted to enjoy the cold.

That's how Lars and Sofie found themselves in the heart of the city.

  • Hvor var de dog glade!

    They were so happy!

But oh, how quickly they got lost!

  • "Lars, hvor er kortet?

    "Lars, where is the map?"

  • " spurgte Sofie.

    Sofie asked.

  • Hun betragtede omgivelserne, så forvirret ud.

    She looked around, looking confused.

The narrow streets all looked the same, and their own footprints were already hidden in a fresh wave of snow.

"I'm afraid I forgot the map at home, Sofie," admitted Lars.

  • De kunne kun grine af deres held.

They could only laugh at their luck.

What is a day in the snow without an adventure?

On a nearby square, a snowball fight started without warning.

Children screamed and laughed, snowballs flew through the air in a soft snow flurry.

  • Emma så dem og hendes øjne glitrede.

Emma saw them and her eyes sparkled.

  • Du ville sikkert gætte det.

    You would probably guess it.

  • Ja, Emma ville være med!

    Yes, Emma wanted to join!

  • Lars og Sofie så Emma løbende hen over torvet.

Lars and Sofie watched Emma running across the square.

  • "Det ser sjovt ud!

    "That looks fun!"

  • " udbrød Sofie.

    exclaimed Sofie.

  • Lars kunne kun nikke og smile.

Lars could only nod and smile.

Sofie pulled him along, and right there, they all became a part of the fun.

  • Emma's hold var sej!

    Emma's team was awesome!

Snowballs were flying fast and high, the fun moments turning into a joyful battle.

Lars and Sofie were happy, but they also knew that they were very, very lost.

  • Tiden gik, solen begyndte at gå ned.

Time passed, the sun began to set.

The snowball fight was slowly dampened by tired children and their parents calling them home.

Lars and Sofie realized they were still lost.

  • Emma vækkede dem fra deres bekymringer.

Emma woke them from their worries.

  • "Jeg kender gaderne her!

    "I know the streets here!

  • Jeg synes, jeg kan vise jer vej!

I think I can show you the way!"

  • " sagde hun.

    she said.

  • Hvad var det for en glad overraskelse!

What a happy surprise it was!

  • Lars og Sofie var taknemmelige.

    Lars and Sofie were grateful.

With Emma as their guide, they safely navigated the streets.

Emma brought them back to where they started.

  • De tre stod sammen og sagde farvel.

The three of them stood together and said goodbye.

  • Emma vinkede, da hun løb tilbage mod torvet.

Emma waved as she ran back towards the square.

The snow, so beautiful and bright, still covered the streets.

But now, as they stood there, Lars and Sofie no longer felt so lost.

They were home in the snow-covered heart of Copenhagen.

  • Og sådan finder vi dem til sidst.

And so we find them in the end.

  • Lars og Sofie, hjemme og trygt.

Lars and Sofie, at home and safe.

They got lost, but also made fun memories.

  • Og Emma, den unge guide.

    And Emma, the young guide.

  • Alle tre fandt de glæde i Københavns sne.

All three found joy in Copenhagen's snow.

And that was all they wished for, on a cold day, in the middle of deep snow, in the heart of Copenhagen.
