As the clouds parted and the May sun illuminated the city, O Petros found himself wandering through the strange environment of the Urban Jungle.

His friend Thaleia, who loved exotic birds, had convinced him to accompany her on the day's visit.

"Petro, look at the flamingos!"

» φώναξε η Θάλεια, καθώς εκείνος αναζητούσε μια πινακίδα για την τουαλέτα.

Thaleia shouted as he searched for a sign for the restroom.

Μπερδεμένος από τα διαφορετικά πανό και την έντονη χλωρίδα, ο Πέτρος κατέληξε ανάμεσα σε θάμνους και τμήματα με μαϊμούδες.

Confused by the various banners and the intense flora, O Petros ended up amidst bushes and sections with monkeys.

«Πού πήγαν οι τουαλέτες;

"Where did the restrooms go?"

» μουρμούρισε, σταματώντας μπροστά σε έναν πολύχρωμο παπαγάλο με έντονο ράμφος.

he muttered, stopping in front of a colorful parrot with a striking beak.

«Εσύ ξέρεις πού είναι;

"Do you know where they are?"

»Ο παπαγάλος τον κοίταξε με περιέργεια και κρόταλισε το ράμφος του, χωρίς καμία ένδειξη κατανόησης.

The parrot looked at him curiously and clattered its beak, showing no sign of understanding.

Ο Πέτρος γελώντας προσπάθησε ξανά, δημιουργώντας μια σειρά από φωνές και κινήσεις, προκαλώντας γέλια στους περαστικούς.

O Petros laughed and tried again, creating a series of noises and movements, causing laughter among the passersby.

Λίγο πιο πέρα, ο Νίκος, ο οποίος φρόντιζε τα ζώα, άκουσε τη φασαρία και πλησίασε να δει τι συνέβαινε.

A little further away, O Nikos, who was tending to the animals, heard the commotion and approached to see what was happening.

Όταν κατάλαβε την κατάσταση, πλησίασε τον Πέτρο.

When he understood the situation, he approached ton Petro.

«Χρειάζεσαι βοήθεια;

"Do you need help?

Οι τουαλέτες είναι δεξιά.

The restrooms are to the right."

»Ο Πέτρος αναστέναξε με ανακούφιση και ευχαρίστησε τον Νίκο, ενώ η Θάλεια τον έφερε σε ένα ευτυχισμένο κέφι με τη γεμάτη αναμνήσεις καζούρα της.

O Petros sighed with relief and thanked ton Niko, while I Thaleia brought him to a joyful mood with her teasing full of memories.

Αυτή η μικρή περιπέτεια ένωσε τον Πέτρο και τον Νίκο σε μια νέα φιλία, γελώντας για την ημέρα που ο παπαγάλος πιθανόν τους απάντησε το σωστό αλλά με λάθος τρόπο.

This little adventure united ton Petro and ton Niko in a new friendship, laughing about the day the parrot might have responded correctly but in the wrong way.
