The spring air in Tallinna Old Town Square was filled with laughter and joy.

Kalev ja Mari seisid väljaku keskel, ümbritsetud rahvamagnetina toimivate kohvikute ja kioskite melust.

Kalev and Mari stood in the middle of the square, surrounded by the bustle of cafes and kiosks that acted as a magnet for the crowds.

Nende eesmärk oli selge: selgitada välja, kes suudab puhub suurima nätsumulli.

Their goal was clear: to determine who could blow the biggest bubble gum bubble.

"Kalev, sina arvad end olevat suur artist," naeris Mari, pausi ajal nätsu närveredes.

"Kalev, you fancy yourself a great artist," laughed Mari, chewing her gum during a pause.

"Aga me näeme!"

"But we'll see!"

Kalevile ei jäänud see väljakutse märkamatuks.

The challenge did not go unnoticed by Kalev.

Ta sättis mütsi pähe, lükkas varrukad üles ja vaatas rahvahulka, kes nende ümber vaikides kogunes.

He set his hat on, rolled up his sleeves, and looked at the crowd that was silently gathering around them.

"Mul on alati parimad trikid varuks," vastas Kalev.

"I've always got the best tricks up my sleeve," replied Kalev.

Nagu tavaliselt, tundus rahvas Tallinna vanalinna väljakul kohe huvitatud mõlemast esinejast.

As usual, the people in Tallinna Old Town Square were immediately interested in both performers.

Kalev ja Mari mõistatasid ning otsustasid pidada nätsumullide löömise võistlust, milles võis osaleda igaüks, kes soovis.

Kalev and Mari pondered and decided to hold a bubble gum blowing contest, which anyone who wanted could join.

However, the nearby merchants were not nearly as excited.

Both Kalev and Mari took large pieces of gum, chewing eagerly.

Väljakule kogunenuid vaatasid, kuidas mullid kasvasid aina suuremaks, särades kevadpäikeses.

The crowd gathered in the square watched as the bubbles grew larger and larger, shining in the spring sun.

Ent just siis, kui Kalevi mull ähvardas Mari oma lüüa, tegi Mari midagi ootamatut.

But just as Kalev's bubble threatened to surpass Mari's, Mari did something unexpected.

Ta tõmbas peaaegu lõpuni puhutud mulli äkki tagasi ja voolis sellest kiirelt näo.

She suddenly pulled the almost fully inflated bubble back and quickly sculpted a face out of it.

Rahva ahhetus kõlas üle väljaku.

The crowd gasped in awe.

See oli midagi sellist, mida keegi poleks oodanud!

It was something no one expected!

Kalev pidi isegi naerma turtsatama.

Kalev even had to stifle a laugh.

"Imeline!"

"Wonderful!"

A joyful mood prevailed over the square.

Kauplejad, näojoonte leevenevad, hüüdsid: "Võitja on Mari!"

Kalev tõstis tema käe kõrgele, tunnustades tema loomingulisust.

Kalev raised her hand high, acknowledging her creativity.

Kalev õppis, et lõbu jagamine toob sageli suurema rahulolu kui võitmine üksi.

Kalev learned that sharing fun often brings greater satisfaction than winning alone.

Rahvas muudkui aplodeeris ja kaupmehed tänasid Kalevit ja Marit päeva muudatuse eest.

The crowd continued to applaud, and the merchants thanked Kalev and Mari for the change in their day.

Ja nii, naeru ja rõõmu täis Tallinn.
