It was a spring morning in post-apocalyptic Tallinn.

Linn tundus nii vaikne, nagu oleks maailm elust tühi.

The city seemed so quiet, as if the world was devoid of life.

Rahvas, kes veel ellu jäi, varjus varemetes.

The people who still survived hid among the ruins.

Kõik kartsid, kuid kevad andis lootust uuele algusele.

Everyone was afraid, but spring gave hope for a new beginning.

Varesed kraaksusid ja lindude laul kajas läbi tühjade tänavate.

Crows cawed and birdsong echoed through the empty streets.

Kaja ja Rein seisid varemetes, mis kunagi oli olnud vanalinna apteek.

Kaja and Rein stood amidst the ruins of what once had been the old town pharmacy.

"Kaja, me peame liikuma kiiresti.

"Kaja, we need to move quickly.

Hostilised rühmitused on juba lähedal," ütles Rein madalal häälel, piiludes üle varingus laokil telliste.

Hostile groups are already nearby," said Rein in a low voice, peeking over the scattered bricks of the collapse.

Kaja noogutas, mure sellest, kas ta leiab vajalikud ravimid oma noorema venna päästmiseks, varjamas hirmufooni ta südamel.

Kaja nodded, the worry about whether she would find the necessary medicine to save her younger brother casting a shadow over the fear in her heart.

Kaja ja Rein liikusid vaikides läbi varisenud seinte.

Kaja and Rein moved silently through the crumbled walls.

"Siin peab olema tagakamber," ütles Rein.

"There must be a back room here," said Rein.

Ta teadis neist kohtadest liiga palju, kuid Kaja mõistis, et praegu pidi ta usaldama meest, kellega ta alles hiljuti kohtus.

He knew too much about these places, but Kaja realized that for now, she had to trust the man she had just recently met.

Rein led them through a dark, rubble-strewn corridor, holding firmly onto a knife with one hand and a torch with the other.

Finally, they found a door.

"Seal sees, kõik vajalik peaks olema seal," ütles Rein kindlalt.

"Inside there, everything we need should be there," said Rein confidently.

Kuid enne kui nad jõudsid ukse avada, kuulsid nad samme.

But before they could open the door, they heard footsteps.

"Keegi on meie ees," sosistas Kaja.

"Someone is ahead of us," whispered Kaja.

Nad peitsid end varjualusesse ja ootasid.

They hid in a shelter and waited.

Hostilised olijad, kolm meest raskete mantlitega, astusid ruumi.

Hostile individuals, three men in heavy coats, stepped into the room.

Nad rääkisid omavahel, kuid Kaja ja Rein ei saanud aru, mida nad ütlesid.

They talked among themselves, but Kaja and Rein couldn't understand what they were saying.

Kaja pigistas Rein'i kätt, andes märku, et nad peavad ootama sobivat hetke.

Kaja squeezed Rein's hand, signaling that they needed to wait for the right moment.

"Sorry, friends, a mistake," he said calmly.

Kaja, hoides kindlalt ravimipudelit, liikus ukse poole, samal ajal kui Rein püüdis mehi eemale juhtida.

Kaja, holding the medicine bottle tightly, moved toward the door while Rein tried to divert the men.

Aga nende vaade oli jäik, ründamus oli vältimatu.

But their gaze was fixed, an attack was inevitable.

Korraga tõmbasid Kaja ja Rein relvad välja, tehes kiire manöövri läbi ukse.

Suddenly, Kaja and Rein drew their weapons, making a quick maneuver through the door.

Running through the streets, their rapidly moving footsteps became faster as the chasing voices finally faded into the distance.

Kaja took the bottle out of her pocket and looked at Rein.

"Aitäh," ütles ta hingeldades, „sinu abita ei oleks ma seda saavutada suutnud."

"Thank you," she said, panting, "I couldn't have achieved this without your help."

Rein naeratas tagasihoidlikult.

Rein smiled modestly.

"Ära muretse.

"Don't worry.

Me kõik vajame mõnikord abi," vastas ta, tundes end pärast pikka aega jälle kasulikuna.

We all need help sometimes," he replied, feeling useful again after a long time.

Nii see oli, varemete vahelt sündis uus sõprus.

And so it was, a new friendship was born among the ruins.

Kaja mõistis, et ta võib teatud inimestele siiski loota ja Rein leidis mehena, kes on aidanud mitmesuguseid inimesi ellujäämises, oma pääste.

Kaja realized that she could still rely on certain people, and Rein, a man who had helped various people survive, found his salvation.
