Ilmassa oli jännitystä ja iloa, mutta poliisiasemalla vallitsi aivan toinen tunnelma.

Eino käveli tiskille, missä Saara, ystävälliseltä vaikuttava virkailija, yritti selvitä festivaalin tuomasta kiireestä.

Eino walked up to the counter where Saara, a clerk who seemed friendly, was trying to handle the rush brought on by the festival.

"Anteeksi, haluaisin tehdä ilmoituksen varkaudesta", Eino sanoi varovasti ja puristi salkkuaan tiukasti.

"Excuse me, I would like to report a theft," Eino said cautiously, clutching his briefcase tightly.

Saara katsoi häntä silmäkulmastaan.

Saara glanced at him out of the corner of her eye.

"Mikä on varastettu?"

"What was stolen?"

"My bicycle," Eino replied.

Saara gestured for Eino to sit down, but her expression showed that she was not impressed.

"Here is my evidence," Eino stated convincingly.

"Katsokaa itse."

"See for yourselves."

Saara ja Jukka tarkastelivat papereita ja kuvia.

Saara and Jukka examined the papers and photos.

Heidän ilmeensä muuttuivat vakavammiksi.

Their expressions grew more serious.

Saara katsoi Einoa uudestaan, mutta tällä kertaa kasvoilla oli ymmärrystä.
