  • I bhfad siar, i ngleannta glasa na hÉireann, chonaic Aoife agus Cillian rud a chuir a gcroíthe ag preabadh le háthas.

Far back in the green valleys of Ireland, Aoife and Cillian saw something that made their hearts leap with joy.

  • Rainbow iomlán, a shnámh os cionn Aillte an Mhothair, áit álainn agus draíochtach.

A full rainbow, floating above the Cliffs of Moher, a beautiful and magical place.

  • D'aontaigh siad dul ar thóir an choirceog óir a bhí, dar leo, ag deireadh an bhogha báistí.

They agreed to pursue the pot of gold that they believed was at the end of the rainbow after the rain shower.

  • Shroich siad Aillte an Mhothair, mar a bhí an ghrian ag soilsiú tríd an mbáisteach.

They reached the Cliffs of Moher, where the sun was shining through the rain.

  • Bhí an t-aer úr agus líon an radharc draíochtach seo a gcroíthe le háthas agus dóchas.

The fresh air and the breathtaking view filled their hearts with joy and hope.

  • Ach níorbh fhada go raibh rud éigin mícheart.

But it wasn't long before something went wrong.

  • Tháinig ceo flúirseach, tiubh agus gan ach píosa beag déanta acu ar an mbóthar, cailleadh iad.

A dense fog came in, thick and with only a small piece of progress made on the road, they got lost.

  • Luí an oíche agus ní raibh aon chomhartha den choirceog óir le feiceáil.

Night fell and there was no sign of the pot of gold to be seen.

  • Bhí Aoife agus Cillian scanraithe agus fuar.

Aoife and Cillian were scared and cold.

  • Bhí siad ag siúl agus ag siúl ach gach uair a d’fhéach siad suas, bhí an bogha báistí imithe agus ansin le feiceáil arís in áit eile.

They were walking and walking but each time they looked up, the rainbow was gone, only to be seen again in another place.

  • Agus iad ina suí ag bun na n-aillte, ag caoineadh in éadóchas, chuala siad gáire beag binn.

As they sat at the foot of the cliffs, crying in despair, they heard a sweet little laughter.

  • Bhí siad eolach ar an bhfuaim sin - gáire leipreachán.

They were familiar with that sound - the laughter of leprechauns.

  • Líonadh Aoife agus Cillian le fearg.

Aoife and Cillian were filled with anger.

  • "Tá sibh ag imirt cluichí linn!

"You are playing games with us!"

  • " a scread Cillian.

    Cillian shouted.

  • Amach as an gceo, tháinig scata leipreachán ag damhsa agus ag preabadh timpeall orthu.

Out of the fog came a group of leprechauns dancing and hopping around them.

  • "Ní hé an t-ór a thugann saibhreas duit, ach cairdeas agus grá," a cannaigh ceann acu.

"It is not gold that brings you wealth, but friendship and love," one of them uttered.

  • Bhí Aoife agus Cillian trína chéile ar dtús, ach ansin thuig siad an ceacht.

Aoife and Cillian were at odds at first, but then they understood the lesson.

  • Le láimh ag lámh, d'fhág siad an áit draíochtach seo, agus an ghealach ag soilsigh bealach abhaile dóibh.

Hand in hand, they left this magical place, with the moonlight showing them the way home.

  • Thuig siad nach raibh ór níos luachmhaire ná a gcairdeas féin.

They realized that gold was not more valuable than their friendship.

  • Agus ón lá sin i leith, choinnigh siad greim daingean ar na rudaí fíorluachmhara i saol – grá, cairdeas, agus áilleacht na n-áiteanna draíochtúil ina gcónaíonn siad.

From that day forth, they held firmly onto the truly valuable things in life – love, friendship, and the beauty of the magical places they reside.
