**In the Spirit of the Desert** Facing the orange light of the sunset, Eliana, Noam, and Tamar stood at the top of the ancient mountain Masada.

המדבר היה שטוח וסודי, מקראי כמעט.

The desert was flat and secretive, almost biblical.

הרוח נשאה עימה את ההיסטוריה של המקום והִכניסה להרגשה מיוחדת.

The wind carried with it the history of the place and brought with it a special feeling.

"אין שום סיבה לטפס על מצדה כדי לחגוג את סוכות," מלמל נועם, מקמט במצח.

"There is no reason to climb Masada to celebrate Sukkot," murmured Noam, furrowing his brow.

הוא אהב את המדבר, את ההיסטוריה, אבל לא הבין למה צריך לערבב זאת עם מסורת ישנה.

He loved the desert, the history, but did not understand why it needed to be mixed with an old tradition.

"סבא היה רוצה כך," אמרה אליאנה בתוקף.

"Grandpa would have wanted it this way," said Eliana firmly.

היא שמרה על פיסת מתכת קטנה מכיסו, מתנה שהעביר לה אחרי שסיפר לה על זיכרונותיו ממלחמת העולם השנייה.

She kept a small piece of metal from his pocket, a gift he passed down to her after he shared his memories of World War II.

Tamar, for her part, just smiled and pondered how to keep the peace.

Dark clouds approached, threatening a storm.

Noam asked uncertainly.

Eliana knew this was a decisive moment, but feared the tradition would be lost to the desert winds.

A sudden gust of wind blew Eliana's metal object among the ancient stones.

The hearts of the three siblings sank.

Without thinking twice, all three of them began searching for the object among the stones.

Even Noam, whose doubts had turned into concern for family and purpose.

לבסוף, רגע לפני שהשמיים נפתחו לגשם, מצאה תמר את החפץ בין הסלעים.

Finally, just before the skies opened up to rain, Tamar found the object among the rocks.

She lifted it happily and said, "Here it is!
