गर्मियों की शुरुआत थी।

It was the beginning of summer.

अमिता अपने घर के पीछे बगीचे में बैठी थी, जब उसे ख्याल आया।

Amita was sitting in her backyard garden when an idea struck her.

"Our neighborhood should host a spring festival!"

Amita had always wanted people to come together, share joy, and she had learned from her grandmother how a community could become a family.

राहुल और संजय, अमिता के पड़ोसी थे।

Rahul and Sanjay were Amita's neighbors.

राहुल एक स्थानीय दुकान का मालिक था और संजय एक स्कूल में शिक्षक था।

Rahul owned a local shop, and Sanjay was a teacher at a school.

अमिता ने सबसे पहले इन्हीं दोनों से बात की।

Amita first spoke to the two of them.

"हम एक वसंत उत्सव कर सकते हैं।

"We can organize a spring festival.

यह सबको करीब लाने का मौका हो सकता है," उसने कहा।

It could be an opportunity to bring everyone closer," she said.

राहुल ने सिर हिलाया, "परंतु पैसा कैसे जुटता करोगी?

Rahul nodded, "But how will you raise the money?"

" संजय ने भी चिंता जताई, "और अगर बारिश हो गई तो?

Sanjay also expressed concern, "And what if it rains?"

"अमिता ने कहा, "पैसे के लिए, मैं स्थानीय दुकानों से प्रायोजन मांगूंगी।

Amita said, "For the money, I'll ask for sponsorship from local shops.

Then she went out onto the streets there.

वह एक-एक दुकान पर जाकर मदद मांगने लगी।

She started asking for help from shop to shop.

कुछ ने हाँ कहा, कुछ ने मना किया।

Some said yes, some refused.

लेकिन अमिता हिम्मत नहीं हारी।

But Amita did not lose heart.

धीरे-धीरे, वह कुछ पैसे इकट्ठा करने में सफल हो गई।

Slowly, she managed to collect some money.

उत्सव का दिन आ गया।

The day of the festival arrived.

सुबह हलके बादल थे।

There were light clouds in the morning.

The atmosphere of the festival was worth seeing.

रंग-बिरंगी पताकाएं, स्वादिष्ट भोजन के स्टॉल, और हंसी मजाक से पूरा पार्क गूंज उठा।

Colorful flags, stalls of delicious food, and the entire park echoed with laughter and jokes.

संजय ने कहा, "यह तो हमारी कल्पना से भी बढ़कर है।

Sanjay said, "This is beyond our imagination."

" राहुल ने उत्साह में कहा, "हम आगे भी ऐसे आयोजन करेंगे।

She was happy.

She decided she would organize more events that would make her neighborhood like a family.
