चांदनी चौक की भीड़भाड़ वाली गलियों में ठिठुरती सर्दियों की सुबह थी।

धूप ने आहिस्ता से अपना दामन फैलाया था, और दुकानें अलसाई हुई सी धीरे-धीरे जाग रही थीं।

"आरव, ज़्यादा दूर मत निकल जाना," ईशा ने चेतावनी दी।

"Aarav, don't wander too far," Isha warned.

"बस, थोड़ी देर के लिए देखूँगा।" उसने कहा और बाजार की भीड़ में ग़ुम हो गया।

"I'll just look for a little while," he said and vanished into the market crowd.

ईशा की आवाज़ पीछे छूट गई।

Isha's voice faded behind him.

भीड़ में ढूढ़ते हुए आरव को एक बुजुर्ग दूकानदार मिले।

While searching through the crowd, Aarav met an elderly shopkeeper.

उनका मसालों का ठेला था, जिस पर तरह-तरह के मसाले सजे थे।

He had a spice cart adorned with various spices.

"बेटा, क्या ढूंढ रहे हो?" उन्होंने पूछा।

"Son, what are you looking for?" he asked.

आरव ने थोड़ी झिझक के बाद अपनी बात कही। "मैं दादी के लिए कुछ खास लेना चाहता हूँ।"

After a little hesitation, Aarav shared, "I want to get something special for my grandmother."

दूकानदार मुस्कुराए।

The shopkeeper smiled.

"यह मसाला देखो, इसे ‘प्राचीन मसाला मिश्रण’ कहते हैं। यह सब्जियों का स्वाद बढ़ा देता है।

"Look at this spice; it's called 'ancient spice blend.' It enhances the taste of vegetables.

पहले राजा-महाराजाओं के रसोई में इस्तेमाल होता था।" आरव ने बड़े गौर से सुना और उसे उपयुक्त उपहार का आभास हुआ।

It used to be used in royal kitchens." Aarav listened intently and realized it was the perfect gift.

तभी ईशा ने भागते हुए उसे ढूंढ निकाला।

Just then, Isha found him, rushing over.

"तुम्हें पता है, मैं कितनी परेशान हो गई थी? दादी सोचेंगी कि हम कहाँ रह गए!"

"Do you know how worried I was? Grandmother will wonder where we've been!"

आरव ने ईशा को सब समझाया और उसे भी दूकानदार से मिलवाया।

Aarav explained everything to Isha and introduced her to the shopkeeper.

दोनों ने मिलकर वह प्राचीन मसाला खरीदा।

Together, they bought the ancient spice.
