गाँव की छोटी पगडंडी पर, एक विशाल बरगद का पेड़ खड़ा था।

On the small village path, a huge bargad tree stood.

उसकी शाखाएं जैसे पूरी धरती को गले लगाना चाहती थीं।

Its branches seemed to want to embrace the whole earth.

इसी पेड़ के नीचे, होली के रंगीन माहौल में, अवनि खड़ी थी।

Beneath this tree, in the colorful atmosphere of Holi, Avni stood.

उसका चेहरा चिंता और उम्मीद से भरा हुआ था।

Her face was filled with worry and hope.

उस दिन का इंतज़ार उसे कई दिनों से था जब वह राघव से उनकी दोस्ती का रिश्ता सुधार सके।

She had been waiting for a day when she could mend the friendship with Raghav.

बरगद के पेड़ के नीचे, उसने पुराने दिनों को याद किया जब वे दोनों यहाँ बैठकर कितनी बातें करते थे।

Under the bargad tree, she remembered the old days when they both used to sit there and talk about so many things.

आज उसी स्थान पर वह नई शुरुआत करने की कोशिश कर रही थी।

Today, in the same place, she was trying to make a new start.

होली का उमंग भरा समुदाय चारों ओर रंग-बिरंगा हो रहा था।

The excitement of Holi was coloring the community around.

बच्चों की हँसी और गीतों की गूंज गली-गली छाई हुई थी।

The laughter of children and echoes of songs were filling every lane.

राघव पहले से ही पेड़ के नीचे खड़ा था।

Raghav was already standing under the tree.

उसके मन में अवनि के लिए नाराजगी अब भी शांत नहीं हुई थी।

The resentment he felt toward Avni had not yet subsided.

अवनि ने धीमे कदमों से उसके पास जाकर कहा, "राघव, मुझे आपके लिए जो भी परेशानी हुई, उसके लिए खेद है।

Avni walked slowly towards him and said, "Raghav, I'm sorry for any trouble I caused you."

"राघव ने उसकी ओर देखा, उसके चेहरे पर उदासी छाई थी।

Raghav looked at her, sadness evident on his face.

उसने कुछ नहीं कहा।

He said nothing.

अवनि ने रंगों से भरी पुड़िया दिखाई और बोली, "यह त्योहार माफ़ी का है, नई शुरुआत का है।

Avni showed him a pouch full of colors and said, "This festival is about forgiveness, about new beginnings.

पिछले होली के दिनों को याद करो, जब हम इस पेड़ के नीचे हँसते थे?

Remember the past Holi days when we laughed together under this tree?"

"राघव वापस उन यादों में खो गया।

Raghav got lost in those memories.

वह भी कैसे पल थे, जब सब कुछ सरल और खुशहाल था।

What times those were, when everything was simple and joyful.

अवनि ने धीरे-से गुलाल लेकर राघव के चेहरे पर लगा दिया।

Avni gently applied gulaal on Raghav's face.

"यह मेरा सच्चा खेद है, राघव," अवनि ने कहा।

"This is my true apology, Raghav," Avni said.

कुछ क्षण के लिए, राघव खामोश रहा।

For a moment, Raghav was silent.

फिर उसने रंगों से भरा अपना हाथ उठाया और उसे अवनि के चेहरे पर मल दिया।

Then he lifted his hand full of colors and applied it on Avni's face.

"मैं भी भूलना चाहता हूँ, अवनि," उसने कहा।

"I want to forget too, Avni," he said.

दोनों के भीतर की सारी कसक जैसे रंगों के साथ बह गई।

All the pain within them seemed to flow away with the colors.

हँसी और खुशी के बीच अवनि और राघव ने एक नई शुरुआत की।

Amidst laughter and joy, Avni and Raghav made a new beginning.

बरगद की छांव तले, उनकी दोस्ती फिर से खिल उठी।

Under the shade of the bargad, their friendship blossomed again.

होली ने सच में उन्हें सिखाया कि माफ़ करके ही जीवन में आगे बढ़ा जा सकता है।

Holi truly taught them that one can only move forward in life by forgiving.

उस पेड़ के नीचे, उनके बीच का प्यार और समझ फिर से मजबूत हो गई।

Beneath that tree, the love and understanding between them grew strong once more.

धीरे-धीरे, वे होली की भीड़ में मिल गए, रंगों में लिपटे हुए, जैसे उनका दामन भी सारे गिले-शिकवे छोड़कर नया रंग पकड़ने को तैयार हो।

Gradually, they merged into the Holi crowd, wrapped in colors, as if ready to embrace a new hue leaving behind all grudges.

वसंत की नयी फुहारों में राघव और अवनि का बंधन और भी चटक हो गया, बरसों पुरानी उस बरगद की तरह, जो हर मौसम में हमेशा खड़ा रहता है।

In the new showers of spring, the bond of Raghav and Avni became even more vibrant, like that age-old bargad which stands firm in every season.
