Martin je volio dolaziti na Dolac.

Martin loved coming to Dolac.

Svaki štand imao je nešto posebno.

Each stall had something special.

Boje voća i povrća bile su žive i privlačne.

The colors of the fruits and vegetables were vivid and attractive.

Martin je tražio najbolje proizvode za svoju obitelj.

Martin was looking for the best products for his family.

Stigao je do prvog štanda.

He reached the first stall.

Prodavačica je imala crvene jabuke.

The vendor had red apples.

Martin se sjetio kako njegova mlađa sestra voli jabuke.

Martin remembered how his younger sister loves apples.

"Dobar dan," rekao je Martin.

"Good day," said Martin.

"Koliko koštaju jabuke?

"How much are the apples?"

""Deset kuna po kilogramu," odgovorila je prodavačica.

"Ten kunas per kilogram," replied the vendor.

Martin je kupio kilogram jabuka.

Martin bought a kilogram of apples.

Nastavio je dalje.

He moved on.

Na drugom štandu vidio je mladića koji prodaje naranče.

At the next stall, he saw a young man selling oranges.

Naranče su bile svježe i sjajne.

The oranges were fresh and shiny.

"Dobar vam dan," rekao je Martin.

"Good day to you," said Martin.

"Mogu li probati jednu naranču?

"May I try one orange?"

"Naravno, uzmite jednu," odgovorio je mladić.

"Of course, take one," replied the young man.

Martin je zagrizao naranču.

Martin bit into the orange.

Bila je slatka i sočna.

It was sweet and juicy.

"Uzet ću dvije kile," rekao je Martin.

"I'll take two kilos," said Martin.

Mladić mu je dao naranče i Martin je platio.

The young man gave him the oranges and Martin paid.

Sada, Martin je tražio povrće.

Now, Martin was looking for vegetables.

Došao je do štanda gdje je starija gospođa prodavala mrkve i krumpire.

He came to a stall where an older lady was selling carrots and potatoes.

"Dobar dan," rekao je Martin.

"Good day," said Martin.

"Koliko su mrkve?

"How much are the carrots?"

""Pet kuna po kilogramu," rekla je gospođa.

"Five kunas per kilogram," the lady said.

Martin je bio zadovoljan.

Martin was pleased.

"Dat ću vam deset kuna za dvije kile.

"I'll give you ten kunas for two kilos."

"Gospođa mu je dala mrkve i krumpire.

The lady gave him the carrots and potatoes.

Martin je bio sretan.

Martin was happy.

Imao je sve što mu treba.

He had everything he needed.

Polako je krenuo kući.

He slowly headed home.

Sunce je još sjalo, a tržnica je bila živahna.

The sun was still shining, and the market was bustling.

Martin je bio zadovoljan svojim kupovinama i veselio se ručku s obitelji.

Martin was satisfied with his purchases and looked forward to lunch with his family.

Kod kuće, njegova sestra je bila jako sretna zbog jabuka.
