Rado je pričala o zanimljivim životinjama koje ponekad možete vidjeti u parku.

She eagerly talked about the interesting animals you can sometimes see in the park.

Planirala je pokazati Luki i Ani skrivene ljepote Plitvica i možda, samo možda, vidjeti neku rijetku pticu ili životinju.

She planned to show Luka and Ana the hidden beauties of Plitvice, and maybe, just maybe, spot a rare bird or animal.

Park je bio prepun posjetitelja zbog blagdana.

The park was full of visitors due to the holiday.

Žamor turista ispunjavao je zrak, a Marina je pažljivo pokušavala zadržati na okupu svoju malu grupu prijatelja.

The chatter of tourists filled the air, and Marina carefully tried to keep her small group of friends together.

Ali, s Aninom šarenom maramom i Lukinom svijetlom majicom lako izgubljenim u gužvi, uskoro ih je olako pomiješala s drugom grupom turista.

But with Ana's colorful scarf and Luka's bright shirt easily lost in the crowd, she soon mixed them up with another group of tourists.

"Hajde, idemo ovom stazom!

"Come on, let's go this way!"

", uzviknula je Marina, misleći da vodi Luku i Anu.

exclaimed Marina, thinking she was leading Luka and Ana.

Ali oni nisu bili njezini prijatelji.

But they were not her friends.

Drugi turisti su znatiželjno pratili entuzijastičnu djevojku dok im je govorila o plavetnim slapovima i zelenim šumama.

The other tourists curiously followed the enthusiastic girl as she talked to them about the azure waterfalls and green forests.

Kada se napokon osvrnula, iznenadila se.

When she finally looked back, she was surprised.

"Oh, gdje su Luka i Ana?

"Oh, where are Luka and Ana?"

" pomislila je.

she thought.

Pogledom je pretražila masu i ugledala ih izdaleka.

She scanned the crowd and spotted them from a distance.

Bez razmišljanja, krenula je prema njima iskačući iz male šumice uz put, dok su uplašene ptice poletjele oko nje.

Without thinking, she headed towards them, jumping out of a small grove by the path, while startled birds flew around her.

"Njakuše, što radiš?

"Njakuše, what are you doing?"

" nasmijala se Ana kad je Marina stigla, još uvijek zadihana.

laughed Ana when Marina arrived, still out of breath.

"Izgubila si nas, a usput si cijelo vrijeme pričala drugima!

"You lost us, and in the meantime, you were talking to everyone else!"

""Ispričavam se," odgovorila je Marina, smijući se vlastitoj nesmotrenosti.

"I'm sorry," replied Marina, laughing at her own carelessness.

"Želim vas odvesti na pravo mjesto.

"I want to take you to the right place.

Pogledajmo zajedno.

Let's find it together."

"Gotovo u mraku proljetnog dana, troje prijatelja pronašli su mirno mjesto uz jedno od jezera.

Almost in the dusk of the spring day, the three friends found a quiet spot by one of the lakes.

Tamo, daleko od gužve, u tišini su uživali u svojoj uskrsnoj piknik košari, smijući se i prepričavajući dogodovštine dana.

There, away from the crowds, they enjoyed their Easter picnic basket in silence, laughing and recounting the day's adventures.

Marina je naučila važnu lekciju.

Ljepotu jezera najbolje je dijeliti s prijateljima, ali treba biti pažljiv.
