Beyond the large windows, the beautifully lit cityscape spread out, carefully snow-dusted, as if it were a giant glass hedgehog.

Bent a teremben ünnepi díszek lógtak mindenfelé; piros és fehér szalagok, csillogó füzérek, és persze, nem hiányozhatott Mikulás sem, aki hamarosan megérkezik.

Inside the room, festive decorations hung everywhere; red and white ribbons, sparkling garlands, and, of course, Mikulás couldn’t be missing, who would soon arrive.

Bence, egy tehetséges középiskolás, aki rajong az innovációért, a színpadra készült lépni.

Bence, a talented high school student who was passionate about innovation, was preparing to step onto the stage.

Ő képviselte iskoláját az Ifjú Innovátorok Nemzetközi Csúcsán.

He represented his school at the International Summit of Young Innovators.

Réka, hűséges barátja és projektpartnere, mellette állt, támogatása megbízható és állandó volt.

Réka, his loyal friend and project partner, stood by his side, her support reliable and constant.

"Nyugi, Bence," mondta Réka mosolyogva.

"Relax, Bence," said Réka with a smile.

"Minden rendben lesz. Te készültél a legjobban, meg fogod hódítani őket."

"Everything will be fine. You've prepared the best; you'll win them over."

Bence mély lélegzetet vett.

Bence took a deep breath.

"Tudom, de... mi lesz, ha mégsem sikerül? Annyian itt vannak, és sokan olyan magabiztosak."

"I know, but... what if I don't succeed? There are so many people here, and so many are so confident."

Réka rápillantott.

Réka looked at him.

"Mindenkinek megvan a maga kis félelme. Ők is csak emberek."

"Everyone has their own little fears. They're just people too."

Zoltán, Bence inspiráló és kissé nyomasztó mentora közeledett hozzájuk.

Zoltán, Bence's inspiring but slightly daunting mentor, approached them.

"Bence, ne feledd, nem az a fontos, hogy hibátlan legyen, hanem hogy önmagad add és tanulj," mondta, ahogy barátságosan megveregette Bence vállát.

"Bence, remember, it's not important to be flawless, but to be yourself and learn," he said, giving Bence's shoulder a friendly pat.

A pillanat végül elérkezett.

The moment finally arrived.

Bence felment a színpadra.

Bence went up on stage.

Szíve hevesen vert, de Réka bátorító pillantására összeszedte magát.

His heart was pounding, but seeing Réka's encouraging glance, he pulled himself together.

Előadása meglepően simán ment.

His presentation went surprisingly smoothly.

Minden jól alakult, amíg egy nehéz kérdést nem kapott az egyik bírótól.

Everything was going well until he received a difficult question from one of the judges.

"Ehm..." kezdte Bence kicsit bizonytalanul, de gyorsan összeszedte a gondolatait.

"Um..." started Bence a bit unsurely, but he quickly gathered his thoughts.

Réka tanácsára emlékezett: maradj nyugodt.

He remembered Réka's advice: stay calm.

Mély levegőt vett, majd magabiztosan válaszolt.

He took a deep breath and then answered confidently.

A válasza mélysége és éleslátása mindenkit meglepett, még saját magát is.

The depth and insight of his response surprised everyone, even himself.

Amikor Bence lejött a színpadról, számos dicséretet kapott.

When Bence came down from the stage, he received numerous compliments.

Az egyik bíró azt mondta neki: "Nagyszerű munka! Látom, rengeteg potenciál van benned."

One of the judges said to him, "Great job! I can see there's a lot of potential in you."

Zoltán is elismerően bólintott. "Látod, tudtam, hogy képes vagy rá."

Zoltán also nodded approvingly. "See, I knew you could do it."

Bence arcán széles mosoly jelent meg.

A wide smile appeared on Bence's face.

Az elismerés és a pozitív visszajelzések hatalmas önbizalmat adtak neki.

The recognition and positive feedback gave him tremendous confidence.

Most már másként nézett a jövőbe.

Now he looked at the future differently.

Megértette, hogy mindig lesznek kihívások, de a saját erősségeibe vetett hit elegendő, hogy mindezt megugorja.

He understood that there would always be challenges, but belief in his own strengths would be enough to overcome them.

A nap végén, miközben a hó lassan hullani kezdett odakint, Bence, Réka és Zoltán együtt meleg teát iszogattak.

At the end of the day, as the snow slowly began to fall outside, Bence, Réka, and Zoltán were sipping warm tea together.

Az ablaküvegen át nézték, ahogy a város karácsonyi fényeibe öltözve ünnepli közeledő Mikulás napját.

Through the window, they watched as the city, dressed in Christmas lights, celebrated the approaching Mikulás day.
