館内は歴史の豊かな香りで満ちています。

The interior was filled with a rich aroma of history.

外の上野公園では、秋の葉がさわさわと音を立てています。

Outside, in Ueno Park, the autumn leaves rustled softly.

ヒロシは、高校生です。

Hiroshi is a high school student.

静かで、考え深い少年です。

He is a quiet and thoughtful boy.

博物館を訪れるのが大好きです。将来、古生物学者になることを夢見ています。

He loves visiting museums and dreams of becoming a paleontologist in the future.

今日は特別な日です。

Today is a special day.

姉のアイコが、敬老の日で家に戻ってきました。

His older sister Aiko returned home for Respect for the Aged Day.

心配性のアイコは、いつもヒロシのことを気にかけています。

The always-worried Aiko is constantly concerned about Hiroshi.

館内を歩くうちに、ヒロシはクシャミし始めます。

As they walk through the museum, Hiroshi starts to sneeze.

鼻がムズムズします。

His nose is itchy.

アレルギーです。

It's an allergy.

タイミングが悪いです。

The timing couldn't be worse.

今日は、館内のガイド、ケンジさんに会いたかったのです。

Today, he wanted to meet kan'nai guide, Kenji.

ケンジさんの恐竜の話はいつもヒロシをわくわくさせます。

Kenji's dinosaur stories always excite him.

しかし、ケンジさんはまだ彼の夢に気付いていません。

However, Kenji is not yet aware of his dream.

「大丈夫？」とアイコが心配そうに聞きます。

"Are you okay?" Aiko asks worriedly.

「薬を探してくるね。」

"I'll go find some medicine."

ヒロシは少し考えました。

Hiroshi thinks for a moment.

アレルギーのせいで、今日のチャンスを逃したくありません。

He doesn't want to miss today's opportunity because of his allergies.

勇気を出して、ヒロシはケンジさんに近づきます。

Gathering his courage, Hiroshi approaches Kenji.

「あの、新しい化石展について教えてください」と、クシャミをこらえながら聞きます。

"Excuse me, can you tell me about the new fossil exhibit?" he asks, trying to hold back a sneeze.

ケンジさんはにっこり笑い、最新の化石について話し始めます。

Kenji smiles warmly and begins to talk about the latest fossils.

その間、アイコは薬局へと走ります。

Meanwhile, Aiko runs to the pharmacy.

ヒロシは話に夢中になり、アレルギーも忘れてしまいそうです。

Hiroshi becomes so absorbed in the conversation that he almost forgets about his allergies.

でも、体は正直です。クシャミが止まりません。

But his body is honest—the sneezing doesn't stop.

アイコが戻ってきて、薬を渡します。

Aiko returns and hands him the medicine.

「ほら、これで大丈夫。」

"Here, this will help."

ヒロシは薬を飲んで、少し楽になります。

Hiroshi takes the medicine and feels a bit better.

その間も、ケンジさんの話を一生懸命聞いていました。

All the while, he's been listening intently to Kenji's talk.

話の終わりに、ケンジさんはヒロシに名刺を渡します。

At the end of the conversation, Kenji hands Hiroshi a business card.

「もっと知りたければ、ここに連絡してください。」

"If you want to know more, please contact me here."

ヒロシは顔を輝かせます。

Hiroshi's face lights up.

それは、小さなきっかけでした。でも、ヒロシにとっては大きな一歩です。

It was a small beginning, but for Hiroshi, it was a big step.

その夜、ヒロシは自分のベッドで考えます。

That night, Hiroshi thinks in his bed.

今日は、勇気を出して良かったと思いました。

He was glad he mustered the courage today.

そして、時には助けを求めてもいいことを学びました。

He also learned it's okay to ask for help sometimes.

明日から、夢に向かって一歩ずつ進んでいこうと心に決めました。

From tomorrow on, he's determined to move forward towards his dream, step by step.
