秋の日差しが病院の大きな窓から差し込んでいました。

10歳のユキは、両親と一緒に病院を訪れていました。

Ten-year-old Yuki was visiting the hospital with her parents.

新しい赤ちゃんの弟が生まれたのです。

Her new baby brother had just been born.

ユキは嬉しくても、少し不安でもありました。

Yuki was happy, yet a bit anxious.

「パパとママ、私をまだ大事にしてくれるかな？」と、心の中で問いかけます。

ママは優しく笑いました。

Her mother gently smiled.

「ユキ、大切なことを教えてあげるよ。

"Yuki, let me teach you something important.

一緒に赤ちゃんに会いに行こう。」ユキは頷いて、ママと一緒に新生児室へ向かいました。

Let's go meet the baby together." Yuki nodded and went with her mother to the nursery.

新生児室の窓から、中をのぞくユキ。彼女の目に映った小さな赤ちゃんを見て、心が弾みました。

Peeking through the window of the nursery, Yuki felt her heart leap at the sight of the tiny baby.

ママは優しくドアを開け、中に入るように促します。

Her mother opened the door gently, inviting her inside.

「ユキ、こちらへ来て。

"Yuki, come here.

弟を抱いてみる？」

Would you like to hold your brother?"

ユキはそっと赤ちゃんを抱きしめました。

Yuki carefully hugged the baby.

温かく、柔らかな感触が彼女を包みました。

The warm, soft sensation enveloped her.

すると、ママが話しかけます。

Then, her mother spoke.

「ユキ、私たちの愛はもっと大きくなるんだよ。

あなたも、弟も、同じくらい大切なんだから。」
