Just as she reached for a book, her eyes met with Kaito's, who was reaching for the same book.

「あ、すみません！」二人は同時に言いました。

"Oh, sorry!" they both said simultaneously.

恥ずかしそうに笑うハルカに、カイトも微笑みを返しました。「この本に興味があるんですか？」

Haruka laughed sheepishly, and Kaito responded with a smile of his own. "Are you interested in this book?"

「ええ、でもどうぞ、あなたが先にどうぞ。」ハルカは一歩下がりました。

"Yes, but please, go ahead, you first," Haruka stepped back a bit.

「いやいや、一緒に読みますか？ここに座りましょう。」カイトが提案しました。

"No, no, how about we read it together? Let's sit here," Kaito suggested.

そうして二人は並んで座り、本の話で盛り上がりました。
