秋の夕暮れ、月明かりが美しいビーチを照らしていました。

その日は、サトルの友達のリナも一緒でした。

That day, Satoru's friend Rina was also with him.

リナはいつも元気で冒険好きな女の子です。

彼女は浜辺を駆け回り、「サトル、夕日がすごくきれいだね！」と叫びました。

She ran around the beach and shouted, "Satoru, the sunset is so beautiful!"

しかし、突然リナは立ち止まり、息を詰まらせました。

Suddenly, however, Rina came to a halt, gasping for breath.

「リナ、大丈夫？」とサトルは心配になりました。

"Rina, are you okay?" Satoru asked, worried.

リナは喘息を持っているのです。

Rina has asthma.

ビーチは人がほとんどいない場所でした。すぐに助けを呼ぶことはできません。

The beach was a place with hardly any people, so calling for help immediately was not an option.

サトルは冷静に、リナのバッグから吸入器を取り出しました。

Remaining calm, Satoru took the inhaler out of Rina's bag.

「これを使って、落ち着いて」と優しく言いました。

"Use this and relax," he said gently.

リナは頷き、吸入器を使い始めました。

Rina nodded and began to use the inhaler.

日が沈む瞬間、リナの息がさらに乱れていきました。

As the sun set, Rina's breathing became even more erratic.

サトルは心臓がドキドキしましたが、冷静さを保ちました。

Satoru's heart raced, but he remained composed.

「リナ、帰ろう。今は休む方が大事だよ」と沈む夕日を背に、真剣に訴えました。

"Rina, let's head back. Resting is more important now," he urged earnestly against the backdrop of the setting sun.

リナはためらいましたが、サトルの真剣な表情を見て頷きました。

Rina hesitated but nodded when she saw Satoru's serious expression.

「わかった、行こう」と、彼女は少し落ち着いた声で言いました。

"Okay, let's go," she replied in a slightly calmer voice.

二人は手を繋いで、ビーチから離れました。

The two held hands as they left the beach.

Satoru kept ensuring that Rina was all right.
