秋の風がそよそよと吹く田舎の朝、さわやかな香りが漂う。

Aiko first stopped by Satoshi's stall.

「こんにちは、サトシ」と、少し緊張しながら声をかけた。

"Hello, Satoshi," she said, a bit nervously.

「アイコじゃないか！久しぶりだね」とサトシは笑顔で応じた。

"Isn't it Aiko! Long time no see," Satoshi responded with a smile.

「帰ってきたんだね。嬉しいよ」と言いながら、彼は新鮮な野菜を差し出した。

"You've come back. I'm glad," he said, while offering her some fresh vegetables.

アイコは安心した。

Aiko felt relieved.

昔の友達と話すことが、こんなにも心地よいと感じるのは久しぶりだった。

It had been a while since she felt such comfort talking to an old friend.

「ハーベストフェスティバルのために、伝統料理を作りたいんだけど、何かおすすめの野菜はある？」と尋ねると、

"I want to make a traditional dish for the harvest festival; do you have any vegetable recommendations?" she inquired.

サトシはすぐにいくつかのカラフルな野菜を指差した。

Satoshi immediately pointed to several colorful vegetables.

「このカボチャと、そこのナスがいいと思うよ。

"I think this pumpkin and that eggplant would be nice.

甘くて美味しいんだ。」

They're sweet and delicious."

買い物を続けていると、アイコは突然ハルトに出会った。

As she continued shopping, Aiko suddenly encountered Haruto.

子供の頃の親友だった彼とは、長い間連絡を取っていなかった。

She hadn't been in touch with him, her childhood friend, for a long time.

ちょっと驚いた表情を見せたが、ハルトはすぐに微笑んで声をかけてきた。
