Stalls were filled with colorful ornaments, traditional sweets with sweet aromas, and lively shouts echoed all around.

歩道には淡い雪がかかり、まるで絵本のような風景です。

A light dusting of snow covered the sidewalks, creating a storybook-like scene.

高校生の遥は、手にリストを握りしめて、少し緊張しながら歩いていました。

Haruka, a high school student, held a list tightly in her hand and walked with a bit of nervousness.

「新年の準備は大事だ」と彼女は心の中でつぶやきました。

"New Year's preparations are important," she murmured in her heart.

家族の伝統を大切に思っている遥は、すべてが完璧であることを願っています。

その横にはいつも元気な海斗がいました。

「ねえ、遥。こっちのお店見ようよ！」彼はどんどん進んで市場を探索していました。

"Hey, Haruka. Let's check out this shop!" He was eagerly exploring the market.

彼の無邪気な提案に、遥は少し戸惑います。

His innocent suggestion left Haruka a bit perplexed.

「この飾りなんてどう？」海斗は青に輝く不思議な飾りを手に取りました。

"How about this decoration?" Kaito picked up a strange decoration that shone blue.

「これ、面白そうじゃない？」

"Doesn't it look interesting?"

「でも、これは家の伝統的な飾りじゃないし…」遥は少し考え込みます。

"But it's not one of our traditional decorations..." Haruka pondered for a moment.

しかし、海斗の笑顔を見ていると、少し心が揺れました。

しばらくの間、二人は飾りの前で静かに考えていました。

そこへ市場のおばさんが話しかけてきました。

その言葉に遥は何かを感じ、決心しました。
