春の風が吹く中、新潟県の広々とした田んぼが太陽の光を浴びていた。

In the gentle spring breeze, the expansive rice fields of Niigata were basking in the sunlight.

田んぼの中に、ハルトは一生懸命働いていた。

Within these fields, Haruto was diligently working.

しかし、彼の鼻はむずむずし、目は涙でいっぱいだった。

However, his nose was tickling, and his eyes were filled with tears.

花粉症が彼を苦しめていた。

Hay fever was tormenting him.

ハルトは米作りに情熱を注いでいたが、この季節にはいつも苦しむことになっていた。

Haruto was passionate about rice farming, but he always suffered during this season.

「ハルト、休みましょう」と、ハルトの妻、ユイが言った。

"Haruto, let's take a break," suggested his wife, Yui.

彼女は温かいお茶を持って田んぼにやってきた。

She came to the fields carrying warm tea.

ハルトは一時手を休め、お茶を受け取った。

Haruto paused for a moment and accepted the tea.

「ユイ、どうしても仕事を続けたい。でも、この花粉には勝てないよ」とハルトは悲しそうに言った。

"Yui, I really want to keep working. But I can't beat this pollen," Haruto said sadly.

ユイは微笑み、「私たちで何かできることを考えましょう。例えば、近所の人たちに助けてもらうのはどうかしら？」と提案した。

Yui smiled and proposed, "Let's think of something we can do together. For example, how about asking our neighbors for help?"

ハルトは最初、助けを借りることをためらったが、ユイの提案を考え始めた。

Haruto was initially hesitant to ask for help, but he began to consider Yui's suggestion.

「それはいい考えかもしれない。みんなで力を合わせれば、うまくいくかも」と言った。

"That might be a good idea. If we all work together, it might go well," he said.

翌日、ユイはご近所に連絡を取り、みんなが集まってくれた。

The next day, Yui contacted the neighbors, and everyone gathered together.

農作業の経験が豊富な人々は、ハルトにいくつかの花粉症対策を教えてくれた。

People with extensive farming experience shared several hay fever remedies with Haruto.

伝統的なお茶や、現代の薬も勧めてくれた。

They recommended traditional teas and modern medicines.

ハルトは彼らの助けを借りて、少しずつ症状が和らいでいった。

With the help of the community, Haruto gradually experienced relief from his symptoms.

ピークの花粉シーズンのある日、彼は再び田んぼに足を踏み入れた。

On a day during the peak of pollen season, he set foot in the fields once again.

症状は完全には消えなかったが、仕事ができるくらいに軽くなっていた。

The symptoms hadn't completely disappeared, but they had lessened enough for him to work.

夕暮れ時、ユイと二人で田んぼを眺めた。

At dusk, Yui and Haruto gazed at the fields together.

「ハルトのおかげで、今年も豊作になりそうだね」とユイが言った。

"Haruto's efforts will likely lead to a bountiful harvest this year," Yui said.

ハルトは頷き、「みんなの助けと、ユイのおかげだよ。これからは一人で頑張らない」と決心した。

Haruto nodded, "It's thanks to everyone's help and yours, Yui. From now on, I won't try to do it all alone," he resolved.

彼は力強く、そして皆と協力して、農作業を続けていくことを決めた。

He decided to continue his farming with determination and cooperation with others.

豊かな収穫を楽しみにしながら、ハルトはこれからも目の前の田んぼと向き合い続けた。
