北海道の田舎には、美しい紅葉があります。

葉は赤、黄、オレンジに染まり、大地をカーペットのように覆います。

この自然の劇場を見に、30歳の写真家はるとは、友人のさくらとゆきと一緒に車でやってきました。

To see this natural theater, a 30-year-old photographer named Haruto came by car with his friends Sakura and Yuki.

はるとは、自然の写真を撮ることが大好きです。

Haruto loves taking photos of nature.

今回は、紅葉の写真を応募したいと思っています。

This time, he wants to submit his pictures of autumn leaves.

彼はコンテストに参加し、見事な写真で賞を取りたいのです。

車は道を走り、彼らは広がる景色を見つめます。

はるとはカメラを取り出し、写真を撮り始めました。

しかし、突然空が曇り、風が強くなりました。

「あれ？嵐が来るみたい。」とゆきが心配そうに言いました。

雲が太陽を隠し、紅葉の鮮やかさが失われました。

はるとはカメラを守りながら考えます。

嵐を待つか、高台に登るか、どちらかを選べなければなりません。

「私は行く。」はるとは決心しました。

彼は防水カバーをカメラにかけて、高台の方へ走り始めました。

He put a waterproof cover on his camera and started running toward the higher ground.

さくらとゆきは彼を応援し、笑顔で見送りました。

Sakura and Yuki cheered him on and saw him off with smiles.

高台に着くと、嵐は過ぎ去り、雲間から光が差し込みました。

When he reached the high ground, the storm had passed, and light poured in through the gaps in the clouds.

大地は再び光で輝き、美しい色を放ちます。

The ground shone again with light, emitting beautiful colors.

はるとは息を整え、カメラを手に取りました。

Haruto caught his breath and picked up his camera.

息を止め、シャッターを切ります。

その後、撮影した写真はコンテストで優勝を果たしました。
