赤や黄の葉が地面を覆う秋のある日、ハルトとユキは三鷹にあるジブリ美術館を訪れました。

On an autumn day when red and yellow leaves covered the ground, Haruto and Yuki visited the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka.

彼らは子供の頃からの友達で、今回の冒険はユキの提案でした。

They had been friends since childhood, and this adventure was Yuki's suggestion.

「人が少なくてラッキーだね！」ユキは目を輝かせながら言いました。

“Lucky there aren’t many people here!” Yuki said, her eyes shining.

ハルトは少し緊張していましたが、彼の心の中では静かな時間を楽しみにしていました。

Haruto was a bit nervous, but inside, he was looking forward to the quiet time.

美術館の中は、スタジオジブリの魔法が詰まっていました。

Inside the museum, the magic of Studio Ghibli was in full display.

The worlds of Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Spirited Away unfolded around them.

特に巨大なぬいぐるみの猫バスは、ふわふわで魅力的でした。

The giant plush Catbus was particularly fluffy and charming.

「これ、本物みたい！」ユキは猫バスを撫でながら言いました。

“This looks real!” Yuki said as she stroked the Catbus.

「ねえ、乗ってみようよ！」

“Hey, let’s try getting on!”

でも、ハルトは時計をちらりと見て心配になりました。

However, Haruto glanced at his watch and became worried.

「もうすぐ閉館だよ、ユキ。」

“It’s almost closing time, Yuki.”

しかし、彼らは楽しみすぎて時間を忘れてしまい、気付いた時には美術館は静かになっていました。

But they were having so much fun that they lost track of time, and by the time they realized it, the museum had become quiet.

「あれ？閉じ込められた？」ハルトは不安になりました。

“Huh? Are we locked in?” Haruto became anxious.

ユキは微笑んで言いました。「大丈夫、これは冒険だよ！探検しよう。」

Yuki smiled and said, “It’s okay, this is an adventure! Let’s explore.”

ハルトはためらいながらも、ユキの提案に賛同しました。

Though hesitant, Haruto agreed to Yuki’s suggestion.

二人は展示を見ながら美術館を探索しました。少しの間、彼らは子供のように無邪気に楽しみました。

They explored the museum while looking at the exhibits and enjoyed themselves innocently, like children, for a while.

しかし、突然、足音が近づいてくるのを聞いてハルトはパニックになりました。

However, suddenly hearing footsteps approaching, Haruto panicked.

「誰かいる！」

“Someone’s here!”

ユキは猫バスの中に二人で隠れることを提案しました。

Yuki suggested they both hide inside the Catbus.

彼らは恐る恐る中に入りましたが、足音はセキュリティの人でした。

Timidly, they went inside, but the footsteps belonged to a security guard.

セキュリティの人は彼らを見つけると、優しく微笑みました。

The guard found them and smiled gently.

「こんなところで何をしているんですか？」

“What are you doing here?”

ハルトはすぐに謝りましたが、ユキは笑顔で言いました。「私たち、ただのお客さんです。でも、出口が見つからなくて…」

Haruto quickly apologized, but Yuki said with a smile, “We’re just visitors. But we couldn’t find the exit…”

セキュリティの人は彼らのストーリーを聞いて、理解してくれました。

The security guard listened to their story and understood.

「出口まで案内しますよ。でも、その前に一回だけ猫バスで遊んでもいいですよ。」

“I’ll guide you to the exit. But before that, you can play in the Catbus one more time.”

ハルトは嬉しそうに猫バスにもう一度乗りました。

Haruto happily got on the Catbus again.

心の中で、彼はユキに感謝していました。

In his heart, he thanked Yuki.

少し冒険することも悪くないと感じました。

He felt that having a little adventure wasn’t so bad.

美術館を出た後、ハルトは笑顔でユキに言いました。「今日は特別な一日だったね。」

After leaving the museum, Haruto said to Yuki with a smile, “Today was a special day.”

ユキも頷きました。

Yuki nodded in agreement.

「うん、また一緒にどこか行こうね。」

“Yeah, let’s go somewhere together again.”

ハルトはうなずき、秋風に吹かれながら美術館を後にしました。今日は、彼の心にも新しい風が吹き込んだようでした。

Haruto nodded and left the museum, feeling like a new breeze had blown into his heart along with the autumn wind.
