서울의 벚꽃 축제는 봄의 시작을 알리는 신호였다.

The beotkkot festival in Seoul signaled the start of spring.

길가에는 분홍빛 꽃잎들이 흩날리고, 먹음직스러운 냄새가 공기를 가득 채웠다.

Pink petals fluttered along the roadside, and the air was filled with delicious scents.

지호와 민서는 학교 일이 끝난 후 축제를 즐기러 나왔다.

Jiho and Minseo went out to enjoy the festival after their school day ended.

지호는 먹거리 노점들에 벌써 마음이 팔려 있었다.

Jiho was already captivated by the food stalls.

"민서야, 저기 떡볶이 맛있어 보여. 사 먹고 가자," 지호가 말했다.

"Minseo, those tteokbokki look tasty. Let's buy some and eat first," Jiho said.

"우선 거기서 줄부터 서," 민서는 말했다.

"Get in line there first," Minseo replied.

하지만 지호는 이미 다른 노점으로 눈길을 돌리고 있었다.

But Jiho had already turned his attention to another stall.

지호의 충동적 성향은 종종 민서를 곤란하게 만들었다.

Jiho's impulsive nature often put Minseo in a difficult spot.

갑작스러운 상황은 그때 발생했다.

Then an unexpected situation arose.

지호는 무심코 자신과 똑같이 생긴 배낭을 가져가 버렸다.

Jiho carelessly took a backpack identical to his own.

뒤늦게 알게 된 건, 배낭의 소유자는 외국인 관광객, 하루였다.

Belatedly, he realized that the backpack belonged to a foreign tourist, Haru.

"큰일 났다, 민서야!" 지호는 소리쳤다. "내 숙제가 그 안에 있어. 그거 내일 제출해야 해."

"This is bad, Minseo!" Jiho shouted. "My homework is in there. I have to submit it tomorrow."

민서는 상황을 파악하고 침착하게 말했다.

Minseo assessed the situation and spoke calmly.

"하루를 찾아야 해. 우리 계획적으로 움직이자."

"We need to find Haru. Let's make a plan."

축제는 인파로 가득했다.

The festival was crowded with people.

거의 같은 배낭을 들고 있는 사람들이 많아 헷갈렸다.

Many were carrying nearly identical backpacks, which added to the confusion.

지호는 집중하려 했지만 여전히 각종 노점이 눈앞에서 유혹하고 있었다.

Jiho tried to focus, but the various stalls continued to tempt him.

갑자기 민서가 외쳤다. "저기, 지호! 저 사람 가방 봐!"

Suddenly, Minseo shouted. "There, Jiho! Look at that person's bag!"

지호는 민서가 가리킨 쪽을 보았다.

Jiho looked in the direction Minseo pointed.

과연이다, 하루가 저 멀리 걷고 있었다.

Indeed, Haru was walking in the distance.

둘은 황급히 쫓아갔다.

They hurriedly chased after Haru.

그들의 뒤로 수많은 꽃잎들이 날아올랐다.

Behind them, countless petals flew up into the air.

"기다려 주세요!" 지호가 외치며 하루에게 달려갔다.

"Please wait!" Jiho shouted as he ran toward Haru.

하루는 뒤를 돌아보며 당황한 표정을 지었다.

Haru turned around with a startled expression.

마침내 하루를 따라잡았다.

Finally, they caught up with Haru.

"이 가방 제껍니다," 지호가 숨을 헐떡이며 말했다.

"This bag is mine," Jiho said, panting.

하루는 당황스러워하다가 웃음을 터뜨렸다.

Haru looked confused for a moment, then burst into laughter.

"아, 이럴 수가. 이미 몇 번이나 비슷한 가방을 봐서요," 하루는 웃으며 말했다.

"Oh, I can't believe it. I've already seen several similar bags," Haru said, laughing.

가방을 교환하고 나서, 셋은 축제의 한편에 서서 포장마차에서 산 어묵을 함께 먹었다.

After exchanging the bags, the three of them stood to the side of the festival and ate eomuk from a food stall.

지호는 스스로에게 새끼 손가락을 걸며 말했다. "앞으로는 더 조심할 거야."

Jiho hooked his pinky finger with his own and said, "I'll be more careful from now on."

민서는 미소 지으며 덧붙였다. "때로는 즉흥적인 게 좋은 거야. 오늘처럼," 그러면서 하루에게 조금씩 익숙해졌다.

Minseo smiled and added, "Sometimes being spontaneous is good. Like today," gradually becoming more comfortable with Haru.

그리고 이렇게 그들의 하루가 조금 더 특별하게 마무리되었다.

And so, their day ended a little more specially.
