정수와 현지는 한강 공원의 자전거 대여소에서 만났습니다.

Jeongsu and Hyeonji met at the bike rental station in Hangang Park.

현지가 활짝 웃으며 말했습니다. "탠덤 자전거 타본 적 있어?"

Beaming, Hyeonji asked, "Have you ever ridden a tandem bike?"

정수는 애써 침착하게 대답했습니다. "아니, 하지만 해보고 싶어."

Jeongsu responded as calmly as possible, "No, but I'd like to try."

자전거에 오르자, 정수는 불안감이 몰려왔습니다.

Once they got on the bike, waves of anxiety hit Jeongsu.

It was hard to control and wobbled a bit.

As the bike set off, Jeongsu didn't know what to do.

While they were laughing and chatting, the bike suddenly veered off the path.

정수는 어리둥절했고, 마침내 미안한 마음에 모든 걸 털어놓기로 했습니다.

Jeongsu was bewildered and decided to confess his apologies.

"현지야, 나 사실 자전거 잘 못 타."

"Hyeonji, I actually can't ride a bike well."

그러나 자전거는 그 순간 통제를 잃었습니다.

But at that moment, the bike lost control.

결국 그들은 어느새 민석에게 충돌하고 말았습니다.

They eventually collided with Minseok.

놀라운 상황에 모두 웃음이 터졌습니다.

Everyone burst into laughter at the unexpected situation.

민석은 크게 웃으며 말했습니다. "이럴 줄 알았어."

Laughing loudly, Minseok said, "I expected this."
