Jo širdis ilgėjosi ramybės ir saugumo.

His heart longed for peace and safety.

Eidamas vidun, jis girdėjo tylių žingsnių aidą.

As he walked inside, he heard the echo of quiet footsteps.

Staiga pamatė moterį.

Suddenly, he saw a woman.

Tai buvo Eglė.

It was Eglė.

Ji tyliai peržiūrėjo, ar knygų lentynose dar rado nieko verto.

She quietly checked the bookshelves to see if there was anything of value left.

Domantas sustingo.

Domantas froze.

„Kas tu esi?

"Who are you?"

“ – jis paklausė, o balsas skambėjo tyliai, bet tvirtai.

he asked, his voice sounding quiet but firm.

Eglė pažvelgė į jį su atsargumu akyse.

Eglė looked at him with caution in her eyes.

„Eglė,“ – ji atsakė, laikydama knygą tarp pirštų.

"Eglė," she replied, holding a book between her fingers.

Ji atrodė vieniša, kaip ir jis.

She seemed lonely, just like him.

„Ką čia veiki?

"What are you doing here?"

“ – Domantas paklausė.

Domantas asked.

Eglė atsakė: „Ieškau žinių.

Eglė replied, "I'm looking for knowledge.

Knygos gali mums padėti išgyventi.

Books can help us survive."

“ Jos akyse spindėjo intelektas.

Intelligence shone in her eyes.

Staiga išgirdę dar vieną garsą, abu apsisuko.

Suddenly, upon hearing another sound, they both turned around.

Tai buvo Dovydas, tvirtu žingsniu artinantis.

It was Dovydas, approaching with a determined step.

Atrodė grėsmingas, jis kalbėjo tvirtai: „Aš ieškau žmonių.

He seemed threatening, speaking firmly: "I'm looking for people.

Vienybėje – stiprybė.

In unity, there's strength."

“ Domantas susiraukė.

Domantas frowned.

Gal šis nepažįstamas žmogus gali kelti pavojų?

Could this stranger pose a danger?

Diena artėjo prie Velykų, svarbios šventės senosiomis laikais.

The day was nearing Velykos, an important holiday in old times.

Jie kalbėjosi apie praeitį, apie šventę ir viltį.

They talked about the past, about the holiday and hope.

Domantas pradėjo pasitikėti Eglė, kai ji parodė miesto dalį, kur buvo įmanoma rasti vandens.

Domantas began to trust Eglė when she showed him the part of the city where water could be found.

Eglė susimąstė: ar turėtų pasidalinti savo paslėptu maistu su vyrais?

Eglė pondered: should she share her hidden food with the men?

Ji nusprendė pasitikėti Domantu ir Dovydu.

She decided to trust Domantas and Dovydas.

Galbūt verta bandyti vienytis?

Perhaps it was worth trying to unite?

Staiga buvo išgirstas triukšmas lauke.

Suddenly, a noise was heard outside.

Vagys artinosi!

Thieves were approaching!

Biblioteka tapo jų tvirtove, ir jie turėjo ją ginti.

The library became their fortress, and they had to defend it.

Jie greitai veikė kartu, rengė spąstus ir gudriai vedžiojo priešą aplink.

They quickly worked together, setting traps and cleverly maneuvering the enemy around.

Sutelkus jėgas, jie sutramdė priešus.

By pooling their strength, they subdued the foes.

Ramybės akimirką Dovydas pasakė: „Galime būti bendruomenė.

In a moment of peace, Dovydas said, "We can be a community.

Kartu – geriau.

Together is better."

“ Domantas suprato, kad buvimas su kitais gali suteikti saugumą ir laimę.

Domantas realized that being with others could bring safety and happiness.

Eglė pamatė, kad pasitikėjimas kitais gali reikšti stiprybę.

Eglė saw that trusting others could mean strength.

Nusprendę likti kartu, jie pradėjo kurti mažą bendruomenę.

Deciding to stay together, they began to build a small community.

Vilnius, nors ir tik griuvėsiai, gyveno jų nauju ryžtu.

Vilnius, though just ruins, thrived with their newfound determination.

Ir taip jie, trys keliautojai, sukūrė naują gyvenimą, kartu pasitikdami ateitį.

And so they, the three travelers, created a new life, facing the future together.
