Through the window, it seems that winter has arrived with its cold breath.
Anete uzvelk cepuri Jānim un Elīnai.
Anete puts a hat on Jānis and Elīna.
She smiles because today both children are going to the science museum.
Jānis has to put on boots, but Elīna helps her with the scarf.
Viņi visi ir satraukti.
They are all excited.
When they enter the museum, the air is warm and full of chatter.
Ziemas aukstums ārpusē ir aizmirsies.
The winter cold outside is forgotten.
Anete stands among large exhibits that brightly shimmer with colors.
"Īstā vieta," viņa nodomā.
"The right place," she thinks.
Jānis pieskrien pie interaktīvās izstādes, bet Elīna pieglaužas mammai, vēro to pūli.
Jānis runs to the interactive exhibit, while Elīna snuggles up to her mother, watching the crowd.
Anete izvēlas īsto ceļu.
Anete chooses the right path.
"Redziet," viņa norāda, "tas ir par dinozauriem.
"See," she points, "this is about dinosaurs."
" Jānis iepletis acis, gribēja uzzināt vairāk.
Jānis widens his eyes, eager to learn more.
Tomēr skaļš huligāns troksnis viņu ātri atvilina prom.
However, a loud noise from a hooligan quickly distracts him.
Elīna ieelpo dziļi, viņai kļūst grūti.
Elīna takes a deep breath, finding it difficult.
"Gribu redzēt zvaigznes," saka Jānis un aizsteidzas tālāk, pa šauru eju.
"I want to see the stars," says Jānis and rushes further down a narrow passage.
Anete takes a moment to check if Elīna feels better.
But when she looks around again, Jānis is gone.
Sākotnējā panika Aneti pārņem kā ledus auksts vējš.
Initial panic grips Anete like an ice-cold wind.
"Kur viņš varēja aiziet?
"Where could he have gone?"
" Elīna sāk raudāt.
Elīna starts crying.
Anete apkampj viņu.
Anete hugs her.
Viņa ieklausās muzejā un kārto savus domus.
She listens carefully to the museum and gathers her thoughts.
"Sekosim šim ceļam," viņa saka ar mierīgu balsi.
"Let's follow this path," she says in a calm voice.
Elīna cieši sekos.
Elīna follows closely.
Pēc neliela ceļojuma, abus satikuši Jāni pie planētu izstādes.
After a short journey, they find Jānis at the planet exhibit.
Viņš skatās augšā uz projekcijām.
He is looking up at the projections.
"Es mīlu zvaigznes," viņš saka.
"I love stars," he says.
"Tās ir skaistas.
"They are beautiful."
"Anete viegli atviegloti nopūšas.
Anete exhales lightly with relief.
Viņa abi abus bērnus uzsauc uz pietura soliņiem tuvākajā stūrī.
She calls over both children to sit on the benches in the nearby corner.
Viņi visi sēž, elpojot mierīgā gaisā.
They all sit, breathing in the calm air.
Elīna smaida atkal, vēro gaismas dejot pa sienām.
Elīna smiles again, watching the lights dance across the walls.
Pēcpusdiena muzejā paiet ar pārmaiņām.
The afternoon in the museum passes with changes.
Anete teaches based on the children's interests, allowing them to explore freely and come back when they are feeling down.
Tieši tā Anete atklāj jaunus veidus, kā stimulēt zinātkāri savos bērnos.
This is how Anete discovers new ways to stimulate curiosity in her children.
Kad viņi iziet no muzeja, saule jau slēpjas aiz koku vainagiem.
When they leave the museum, the sun is already hiding behind the tree crowns.
Viņi soļo mājās.
They walk home.
Tā bija laba diena.
It was a good day.
With newfound understanding, Anete realizes that science is beautiful and wondrous.
She proudly watches her children who share their discoveries together and rejoice in what they saw - a step closer to exploring the world.
