Slnko príjemne svietilo nad Bratislavským hradom.

The sun was pleasantly shining over Bratislava Castle.

Jana, Marek a Zuzana stáli pred veľkými bránami.

Jana, Marek, and Zuzana stood in front of the large gates.

V ten deň bola ich trieda na výlete.

That day, their class was on a field trip.

Ich učiteľka, pani Novaková, chcela, aby sa dozvedeli viac o histórii a architektúre.

Their teacher, Mrs. Nováková, wanted them to learn more about history and architecture.

"Pozrite sa na tie veže!

"Look at those towers!"

" povedala Jana, ukazujúc na hrad.

said Jana, pointing at the castle.

"Je to krásne," súhlasil Marek.

"It's beautiful," agreed Marek.

Zuzana sa usmiala a pridala, "Mám rada históriu.

Zuzana smiled and added, "I love history.

Chcem vedieť viac o tomto mieste.

I want to know more about this place."

"Pani Novaková ich viedla dnu.

Mrs. Nováková led them inside.

Prechádzali cez nádvorie.

They walked through the courtyard.

"Tento hrad stojí tu od deviateho storočia," vysvetlila učiteľka.

"This castle has been here since the ninth century," the teacher explained.

"Je to jedno z najdôležitejších miest na Slovensku.

"It is one of the most important places in Slovakia."

"Žiaci sa zastavili pri veľkej stene s freskami.

The students stopped by a large wall with frescoes.

"Čo sú to tie obrázky?

"What are those pictures?"

" spýtala sa Zuzana.

asked Zuzana.

"To sú scénky z našej histórie," odpovedala pani Novaková.

"They are scenes from our history," answered Mrs. Nováková.

"Pozrite sa, toto je kráľ Svätopluk I.

"Look, this is King Svätopluk I.

Bol mocným panovníkom.

He was a powerful ruler."

"Prešli k veži a začali vystupovať po schodoch.

They moved to a tower and started climbing the steps.

Keď dosiahli vrchol, otvoril sa im nádherný výhľad na celú Bratislavu.

When they reached the top, a wonderful view of all of Bratislava opened up before them.

"Vidím náš dom!

"I can see our house!"

" zvolala Jana vzrušene.

Jana exclaimed excitedly.

"Môžeme tam zostať navždy?

"Can we stay here forever?"

" pýtal sa Marek so smiechom.

Marek asked, laughing.

"Nie, ale môžeme si tú krásu užívať," odpovedala učiteľka.

"No, but we can enjoy this beauty," the teacher replied.

"Pozrite sa, tamtá budova je starej radnice.

"Look, that building over there is the old town hall.

Má veľmi dôležitú históriu.

It has a very important history."

"Neskôr vo výstavnej miestnosti žiaci obdivovali staré meče, brnenia a knihy.

Later, in the exhibition room, the students admired old swords, armor, and books.

"Toto je úžasné," hovorila Zuzana, keď sa skláňala nad staré mapy.

"This is amazing," said Zuzana as she leaned over old maps.

Na konci výletu sa pani Nováková usmiala na svojich žiakov.

At the end of the trip, Mrs. Nováková smiled at her students.

"Dúfam, že ste sa veľa naučili.

"I hope you learned a lot."

""Áno, milujem slovenskú históriu!

"Yes, I love Slovak history!"

" povedala Jana.

said Jana.

Marek prikývol: "A stavby sú úžasné.

Marek nodded, "And the buildings are awesome."

""Pochopili ste niečo dôležité," povedala učiteľka.

"You've understood something important," said the teacher.

"História a architektúra nás spájajú.

"History and architecture connect us."

"Žiaci sa vrátili do autobusu, unavení, ale šťastní.

The students returned to the bus, tired but happy.

Bola to vzrušujúca a poučná výprava.

It had been an exciting and educational trip.

Na ceste domov rozmýšľali o tom, čo všetko objavili.

On the way home, they thought about all they had discovered.

Bratislavský hrad ich očaroval a naučil ich veľa o ich krajine.

Bratislava Castle had enchanted them and taught them much about their country.

Všetci sa tešili na ďalší výlet.

Everyone looked forward to the next trip.
