"Marek, viem, že sa ponáhľaš," povedala Zuzana, jeho kolegyňa, ktorá stála vedľa neho.

"Marek, I know you're in a hurry," said Zuzana, his colleague, who stood next to him.

Boli spolu na služobnej ceste a teraz hľadali darčeky uprostred duty-free obchodu.

They were on a business trip together and were now searching for gifts in the middle of the duty-free shop.

"Určite chceš niečo špeciálne, však?

"You definitely want something special, right?"

"Áno, Marek si naozaj prial nájsť niečo jedinečné, ale čas a rozpočet ho tlačili.

Indeed, Marek was hoping to find something unique, but time and budget were pressing.

V obchode bolo toľko možností – od čokolády a parfumov po luxusné šperky.

There were so many options in the store - from chocolate and perfumes to luxury jewelry.

Pospájali sa mu však očami len samé drahé predmety.

However, only expensive items caught his eye.

"Pozri sa na tú dekoráciu," ukázala Zuzana na súčasť výzdoby.

"Look at that decoration," Zuzana pointed out a part of the display.

Halloweenové tekvice a masky lemovali pulty.

Halloween pumpkins and masks lined the counters.

Marek sa usmial.

Marek smiled.

"Možno niečo s Halloween tematikou?

"Maybe something with a Halloween theme?"

"Práve vtedy k nim pristúpila Jana, predavačka s priateľským úsmevom.

Just then, Jana, a saleswoman with a friendly smile, approached them.

"Potrebujete pomoc?

"Do you need help?

Som tu, aby som vám pomohla nájsť niečo pekné," povedala.

I'm here to assist you in finding something nice," she said.

Potom sa zamyslela a dodala: "A možno by vás zaujalo niečo so slovenským pôvodom?

Then she thought for a moment and added, "And perhaps you'd be interested in something with Slovak origin?"

"Marek sa potešil.

Marek was thrilled.

"Áno, rád by som niečo také.

"Yes, I'd love something like that.

Máte nejaké tipy?

Do you have any suggestions?"

""Samozrejme," usmiala sa Jana a ukázala na krásne vyrezávané drevené figúrky.

"Of course," Jana smiled and pointed to beautifully carved wooden figurines.

"Tieto sú vyrobené tradičným slovenským spôsobom.

"These are made in the traditional Slovak way."

"Marek si pripomenul svoje detstvo, keď s rodičmi na jeseň vyrezávalo tekvice a robili si vlastné masky.

Marek recalled his childhood, when he used to carve pumpkins and make his own masks with his parents in the fall.

Bolo to jednoduché, ale nezabudnuteľné.

It was simple but unforgettable.

Rozhodol sa pre malé vyrezávané figúrky s motívom Halloweenu.

He decided on small carved figurines with a Halloween theme.

"Tieto sú perfektné.

"These are perfect.

Marek said joyfully.

Jana sa len usmiala a popriahla im šťastnú cestu.
