V samem srcu mesta se nahaja velika tržnica, polna živahnosti in barv.

In the very heart of the city lies a large market, full of vibrancy and colors.

Stojnice se nizajo ena za drugo, vsaka polna svežih pridelkov in lokalnih dobrot.

The stalls line up one after another, each filled with fresh produce and local delicacies.

Mateja, mlada pustolovka z velikimi sanjami, hodi po tržnici.

Mateja, a young adventurer with big dreams, walks through the market.

Njene oči sijejo, ko vidi vse sveže sadje in zelenjavo.

Her eyes light up as she sees all the fresh fruits and vegetables.

"Želim pripraviti nepozabno poletno večerjo," razmišlja.

"I want to prepare an unforgettable summer dinner," she thinks.

Ob njej pa je Tomaz, njen prijatelj, ki vedno pazi na proračun.

Beside her is Tomaz, her friend, who always keeps an eye on the budget.

"Mateja," reče Tomaz, "dobre sestavine ne potrebujejo biti drage.

"Mateja," says Tomaz, "good ingredients don't have to be expensive."

"Hodita od stojnice do stojnice.

They walk from stall to stall.

Na neki točki prideta do Anjine stojnice.

At one point, they arrive at Anja's stall.

Anja je dobro znana po svoji ekološki zelenjavi.

Anja is well-known for her organic vegetables.

"Dober dan," pozdravi Mateja.

"Good day," Mateja greets her.

"Iščem nekaj posebnega za večerjo.

"I'm looking for something special for dinner."

"Anja jo odprto pogleda.

Anja looks at her openly.

"Morda ti lahko priporočim nekaj posebnega.

"Perhaps I can recommend something special.

Poskusi ta redek zeliščni čaj.

Try this rare herbal tea.

Je zelo aromatičen.

It's very aromatic."

"Mateja ga povonja in takoj začuti, da bi ta zelišče lahko povzdignilo katerokoli jed.

Mateja smells it and immediately feels that this herb could elevate any dish.

But it is expensive.

"Če ga vzamem, bom morala popustiti na drugih stvareh," pomisli.

"If I take this, I'll have to cut back on other things," she thinks.

Tomaz opomni: "Se spomniš, kaj sem rekel o proračunu?

Tomaz reminds her, "Do you remember what I said about the budget?"

"Mateja koleba med svojimi željami in prijateljevim praktičnim nasvetom.

Mateja hesitates between her desires and her friend's practical advice.

Nato se odloči.

Then she decides.

"Vzela bom to zelišče," pove Anji, pripravljena na izziv.

"I'll take this herb," she tells Anja, ready for the challenge.

"Ampak bom bila kreativna pri ostalih sestavinah.

"But I'll be creative with the other ingredients."

"Na poti nazaj Mateja in Tomaz še kupita nekaj osnovnih sestavin: krompir, korenje, paradižnik.

On the way back, Mateja and Tomaz also buy some basic ingredients: potatoes, carrots, tomatoes.

Mateja si ne more pomagati, da se ne bi nasmehnila.

Mateja can't help but smile.

Tomaz jo opazuje in se nasmehne tudi on.

Tomaz watches her and smiles too.

"Vem, da boš iz tega naredila nekaj posebnega," reče.

"I know you'll make something special out of this," he says.

Za večerjo Mateja pripravi pečen krompir z aromatičnimi zelišči in svežo solato z Anjinim posebnim zeliščem.

For dinner, Mateja prepares baked potatoes with aromatic herbs and a fresh salad with Anja's special herb.

Prijatelji so navdušeni.

Friends are thrilled.

Okusi so nepričakovano bogati in pečeni krompir dobi povsem novo dimenzijo.
