A young man named Thanakorn stood contemplating at the edge of a vast paddy field.

Thanakorn, a software engineer in Bangkok, was visiting relatives and friends to find the disadvantages of his origin.

ที่นี่ ธนากรพบว่าเมืองเป็นที่ๆ เร็วไปหมด แต่หัวใจเขายังคงรักในชนบทและต้องการกลับมาพบกับความสุขที่แท้จริง

Here, he found that the city was a fast-paced place, but his heart still cherished the countryside and he wanted to return to find true happiness.

Pimchanok, a relative who still lived in Ayutthaya, asked Thanakorn, "You haven't participated in such an event in a long time. You might have forgotten."

"ใช่ ฉันคิดถึงมันมาก" ธนากรตอบอย่างตรงๆ

"Yes, I miss it a lot," Thanakorn replied honestly.

เขารู้สึกสับสนด้วยภาระงานที่เขาต้องรับมือและวัฒนธรรมคนเมืองที่เร็ว

He felt confused by the work burdens he had to handle and the fast-paced city culture.

อาปิญญา เพื่อนบ้านสูงวัยที่มีชื่อเสียงเรื่องเล่าให้เด็กรุ่นใหม่ฟัง เธอมองธนากรด้วยความเข้าใจ

A Pinyya, an elderly neighbor known for storytelling to the younger generation, looked at Thanakorn with understanding.

"หนูควรลองลงมือดูบ้าง เรียบง่ายแต่เต็มไปด้วยความสุข"

"You should try to get involved. It's simple but full of happiness."

"ผมห่างจากที่นี่นาน ฉันเกรงว่าผมจะทำไม่ได้ดี" ธนากรกล่าวออกมา

"I've been away for so long. I fear I won't do well," Thanakorn expressed.

"ไม่ต้องกังวล ความรักของชุมชนจะทำให้หนูเรียนรู้ได้ดี" อาปิญญายิ้ม

"Don't worry, the community's love will guide you to learn well," A Pinyya smiled.

เมื่อถึงวันงาน เทศกาลเต้นรำเริ่มขึ้น

When the festival day arrived, the dance festival began.

ธนากรตัดสินใจเข้าร่วม

Thanakorn decided to join in.

เขาใส่ชุดพื้นเมือง มองเห็นชุมชนหัวเราะสนุกสนานกับเสียงเพลง

He donned traditional attire, seeing the community enjoying and laughing with the music.

At that moment, Thanakorn felt overwhelming joy. He realized that he was not far from his roots.

After the festival, Thanakorn felt a deep appreciation for the slower pace of life, the nostalgia for his origins, and the love for the fields.

It was certain he would visit home more often and maintain his relationship with the family and community henceforth.
