Niran is a twelve-year-old boy.

"พี่กันยา" เขาเรียกพี่สาวของเขาที่มีท่าทางมั่นใจและชื่นชอบวัฒนธรรมไทย

"Pee Kanya," he calls to his sister, who is confident and fond of Thai culture.

"ลอยกระทงทำไมถึงสำคัญเหรอ?" นิรัญถาม

"Why is Loy Krathong important?" Niran asks.

"เป็นการขอบคุณพระแม่คงคาและขอขมา" กันยาตอบอย่างเรียบง่าย แต่สายตาของเธอเต็มไปด้วยความภาคภูมิใจ

"It's a way to thank and apologize to Phra Mae Khongkha," Kanya replies simply, but her eyes are filled with pride.

On this occasion, he is determined to teach the children about Thai culture.

"กระทงที่เราจะลอยเป็นดอกไม้และเทียน เป็นสิ่งสวยงามในคืนเดือนสิบสอง" ครูสมชายกล่าวด้วยน้ำเสียงเคร่งขรึม

"The krathong we will float is made of flowers and candles, it is a beautiful sight on the full moon night of the twelfth month," Teacher Somchai says solemnly.

When it is time for the krathongs to go into the water at night, the moonlight reflects on the water.

Niran's krathong gently floats along the current, alongside others, like a shared journey.

นิรัญมองภาพนี้ ในใจเขาเริ่มรู้สึกถึงความเชื่อมโยงบางอย่าง

Niran watches this scene, and he starts to feel a certain connection inside.
