Amidst the chaos at the night bazaar, Thida wandered around with memories of her grandmother's old necklace that had been recounted to her in childhood.

She was certain that the necklace had to be somewhere in the market.

"Thida, I don't think we'll find it. There are so many people," said Prasert, her protective older brother, looking out for safety.

แต่ธิดายังคงดื้อรั้น

But Thida remained stubborn.

“น้องจำได้ค่ะ พี่ ประเสริฐ คุณยายบอกว่ามันมีเครื่องหมายพิเศษ” ธิดากล่าวด้วยความมั่นใจ

"I remember, Phi Prasert. Grandma said it has a special mark," Thida replied confidently.

นิรันดร์ พ่อค้าที่มีนิสัยสงสัย ยืนอยู่ใกล้ๆ ฟังเรื่องราวและความคิดเห็น “เฮ้อ สร้อยคอแบบนี้มันคงแค่เรื่องเล่านิทานเท่านั้นละ”

Niran, a curious-natured vendor standing nearby, listened in on the story and commented, "Huh, necklaces like that are probably just the stuff of fairy tales."

ธิดายิ้มและกล่าวว่า “พี่นิรันดร์ต้องช่วยหาของให้ธิดานะคะ”

Thida smiled and said, "You have to help me find it, Phi Niran."

นิรันดร์หลุดหัวเราะ “เอาเลย ถ้าเจอจะตื่นเต้นมาก”

Niran laughed, "Sure, if you find it, it'll be really exciting."

Thida started walking toward the stalls filled with lights and shouting vendors.

"Phi Prasert, is that it?" Thida pointed at a jellyfish hanging there.

นิรันดร์หันกลับมาและทำหน้าจริงจัง “นี่เธอเจอจริงๆ เลยหรอ”

Niran turned and looked serious, "Did you really find it?"

Thida grinned widely.

นิรันดร์ช่วยเธอหยิบขึ้นมา และประเสริฐจับไหล่น้องสาวด้วยความภาคภูมิใจ

Niran helped her pick it up, and Prasert put his hand on his sister's shoulder with pride.

“ขอบคุณค่ะ พี่นิรันดร์” ธิดากล่าว

"Thank you, Phi Niran," Thida said.
