"Може, походжаючи лісом, ми зможемо зблизитися?

"Maybe strolling through the forest, we can get closer?"

" – подумала Оксана.

Oksana thought.

Ідея миттю перейшла від думки до дії.

The idea immediately moved from thought to action.

Вона вирішила: сьогодні вони підуть у похід всією родиною.

She decided: today, they would go on a hike as a family.

"Не хочу," — відповіла Катерина.

"I don't want to," replied Kateryna.

Вона більше прагнула свободи, ніж сімейних подорожей.

She yearned more for freedom than for family trips.

"А в мене робочі справи," — буркнув Дмитро, не відриваючи очей від екрану.

"I have work matters," muttered Dmytro, without lifting his eyes from the screen.

Та Оксана наполягала.

But Oksana insisted.

"Це важливо для нас усіх," — сказала вона.

"It's important for all of us," she said.

Нарешті, всі троє, хоча й неохоче, вирушили в похід.

Finally, all three, though reluctantly, went on the hike.

Ліс захоплював своєю величчю.

The forest captivated them with its grandeur.

Перші години минають мовчки.

The first hours passed in silence.

Катерина тягнулася вперед, насолоджуючись шаленою свободою, поки Дмитро намагався встигнути за нею, все ж поглядаючи на свій телефон.

Kateryna moved forward, enjoying the wild freedom, while Dmytro tried to keep up with her, still glancing at his phone.

Раптом небо затяглося хмарами, і почався дощ.

Suddenly, the sky filled with clouds, and it started to rain.
